This shop was started as an "outside the box" idea for raising money to support feeding the animals at the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum. The Museum is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit institution with a mission to foster an interest in nature, the environment, and the natural sciences. We are currently home to 11 handicapped birds, 4 snakes, and 6 turtles. All of the animals in our care were either severely injured or abandoned pets and are unable to survive in the wild. The Museum staff are a small team of volunteers who are dedicated to making sure that all the animals have enriching purposeful lives.
