Announcement
Happy Spring! It may not feel like it today, but with these longer days and more light, we are starting seeds in the greenhouse! We just finished a wholesale spatula order for Forest and Field Collective, another Vermont small business that puts together curated artisan goods for gift baskets. And... we will have our spoons in our first art exhibit at Mad River Valley Arts in Waitsfield; We are excited to show our spoons in "Design Made Visible: Pottery, Fibers, Wood & Glass: on the table" from May 3-June 22. We love it when we have repeat buyers! Thank you for supporting us! We welcome new buyers too! Ellen and Jeff

5 out of 5 starsI have an earlier version of the spatula/scraper and it is my favorite and most used kitchen tool. This new rendition is so elegant and I plan to gift these to burgeoning cooks in my family.

Spoon Care and Maintenance
Your handmade wooden spoon is sanded to a smooth surface and sealed with food-safe Tried and True oil to seal the wood. Make sure to leave yours out of standing water, and don’t use the dishwasher for cleaning. We hope you will enjoy using and cooking with your spoons daily. The more they are used, the wood will acquire its unique character. Some woods, like cherry, will get darker over time with exposure. You can give your dry spoons a light sanding from time to time with 400 fine grit sandpaper, apply a light coat of oil, let dry, and polish with a soft cloth.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Choose gift wrap from the drop-down menu when placing your order. There are several types of paper to choose from. Please ask if you have questions.
Custom and personalized orders
We sometimes fill custom spoon orders. We can also make a copy of a treasured or favorite spoon you have that may have broken or is too worn to continue using. Get in touch!
