Frequently asked questions

Sizing details

Please read the descriptions of each listing & be sure to send me any questions prior to ordering. All sizes listed are approximate due to the handmade nature of the work. I include photos with a ruler. Feel free to message me anytime with questions on sizes.

What happens if my order arrives broken/damaged?

Pottery does occasionally break when being shipped, but thankfully it is quite rare. All of my pottery is packed well in paper and a strong box, so the shipper needs to make it right if they damage your item. File a claim with USPS quickly with photos of the damage and the packaging. Notification needs to be made within a day or two.

Shipping/Tracking numbers

If you receive a shipping notification, but your order does not arrive in the mail, please contact the post office. We make sure to have tracking sent to you on all orders. They will be able to assist you in the process of filing a claim. Please note that we are not responsible for items that are lost or delayed in the mail. Please contact USPS with your tracking number and let them take responsibility and make you whole from their error.

Shipping Methods

Orders that are shipped via USPS Priority shipping, which will arrive in 2-3 business days. This method includes up to $100 insurance and a tracking number.
I have begun offering Parcel Select Ground as an option, but please note that if you choose this option it will not include insurance. I can not be held responsible for damage from the post office since I package items well – please see USPS about any damage they cause. We do upgrade to Priority occasionally.

Care instructions

All the pottery listed for the use of food/drink is food, dishwasher, oven (to 400°) and microwave safe. Hand-washing is recommended as is to gradually heat and cool the pottery with oven use. Any exceptions to this will be clearly labeled in the listing.

Items (such as soap dishes) that do not have food on them may have non-food safe glazes.
