5 out of 5 starsBeautifully crafted item- there is a lot of detail & intricacy in the design. I couldn’t have found something more unique. Shipment was very quick & the shop owner was very lovely to work with. I would and probably will buy again : )

5 out of 5 starsI am so glad that I explored "long earring displays" on Etsy! I love Vicki's earring holder! It looks wonderful as a part of my booth display AND many customers have complimented me on it! The display arrived in an extremely timely manner, was well wrapped and is flawless! Thank you Vicki for this great design!

5 out of 5 starsSo beautiful. The magic of Vicki's pottery is that it looks unique in different light settings, all the perspectives to which photography cannot do justice. Looking forward to collecting more pieces in the future. We will be incorporating her work into our classical Indian dance projects.
About VickiGardnerPottery
Handmade Clay Creations
My work begins in my small studio, where I knead the clay I'm going to use for the day. Sometimes I visualize my designs first by drawing the forms on my table. After I decide what to make, I use an electric wheel to form the basic structures. Sometimes I add hand built parts. Then I fire my pieces in an electric kiln or raku them outdoors in a fiber kiln and create effects with wood shavings and paper. My favorite finishes are white crackle and smoked unglazed clay. You will see a lot of texture in my work, whether it's stretched and altered clay, or combinations of glazes.

I make pieces that feel good to make. When I get it right, the pots come to life. I like to envision my work finding good homes where people appreciate not only the item, but the creative process. For me, each pot is answering the question "I wonder what would happen if..." Clay can be anything and everything.
