"Five Rain Girls". A bit of happy! I grew up in the Pacific Northwest!

Wishing you a warm welcome to my shop and life in art!

I was born and raised in a country setting by a loving family. My devoted artist grandmother lived next door. By age 11 she had me happily oil painting beside her.

After marrying my prince, I became a nurse, had two terrific sons, and chose art over nursing so I could stay home with my boys.

And now, many years have flown by, most of them in the sunny countryside of southern Idaho. Our boys are grown up and wonderful. We have five grandkids I love to paint...I've taught hundreds of art classes, and I'm still passionate about my family and painting.

All my art is created by me. Each image reflects how I look at life and how I communicate. When an idea strikes...often in the night...I get so excited I can't wait until that idea is on canvas. There's no way to describe the feeling I get with a paint brush in hand and I'm ready to paint. And, oh, maybe...something magical might just happen! ~~xoxo Vickie
