Announcement   Welcome! I'm happy to have you here. As you scroll through my pieces of original fine art I would like you to know that each had a defining inspirational moment. A space in my life that took me on an unique journey of color exploration. This involved a beginning, a middle and an "ahhhh" that's it put the paint brush down and stop. If you have any questions about my work, please feel free to ask. I would love to hear from you.

The BBC's TV DIY SOS: The Big Build used 2 of my paintings 'Mind Travel' and 'This Side of Town' for their 27th season - 2nd episode in the award winning DIY TV show for deserving families.
COASTAL LIVING MAGAZINE has featured my painting 'Transcend' in their May issue 2015. Look for 101 Beach House Must - Haves. The company HOUZZ purchased my painting 'Transition'

International buyers welcomed.

I love my print! It was even prettier in person. The blue was absolutely stunning! I really appreciated the communication from the seller as well. She kept me in the loop throughout the process. I would absolutely order from her again.

This commission piece was painted on a 40" X 50" stretched canvas that my partner Kurt Wedgley made. It's a piece of fine craftsmanship that took a day and a half to make. But now he set the bar so high I don't want to use store bought anymore. laughing

The original painting now available in large museum quality prints.
My most recent commission is a good representation of my glazing and brush methods. I've used two different brands of Prussian blue because of their color characteristics brings added depth. I am also loving the grays in this too.

Raised in the Bay Area in the 50’s - 60’s, mid-century art naturally brings a comfortable fit for me. I find the simple complexities from this era still holds sophistication decades later. I live a quiet life in the SF Bay Area of California where I’m able to pursue my painting full-time. My work has been received by collectors throughout the USA and 17 countries.

I paint abstract expressionism and I'm continually driven to push myself to be a better painter. I tend to work with a limited color palette where I use thin layers of application to create glowing under layers. Throughout my work, you will find watercolors, acrylics and oils. I love commission painting, let's put our heads together and create something wonderful just for you.

Kurt Wedgley | color field and anamorphic photorealism painter

Kurt is the master painting packer-upper. Each large canvas is incased with wood sides to prevent damage from occurring when handled by the carriers. This very busy guy has also been making my beautiful, solid backed floating frames and custom size stretched canvas. Wedgley was raised in Marin County, Ca. At a young age he was entering and winning art competitions. With an eye for fine detail, he went on to building sets for commercials and elaborate holiday displays for high-end homes in Black Hawk.

For the past several years his medium of choice was painting anamorphic posters with Photoshop working primary with digital realism. Today he is using his love for details with paint on wood as well as color field painting. His interests and livelihood are working with high tech laser equipment. He is fascinated with light production and hologram making.

Commission work from both Victoria and Kurt are welcomed.

Welcome to my Etsy Shop. If you don't see what you're looking for, I would love to work with you. Before making a purchase for a large painting, it's always helpful to first measure the wall space that the painting is being considered for. This will help take much of the guess work out of the decision making and aid to a smooth transaction.

Are thinking about fine art as a gift? How about a gift certificate?

Thank you for visiting,

♥ Victoria

NOTE if you are using Etsy Direct Payment it can take 48 hours to process followed by another 24 hours before payment is released to the sellers. Please understand this is of no control of the sellers and longer processing time will delay your shipment.

However if you use PayPal, funds are immediate and I'll be able to ship sooner.

- Payments are to be made at time of purchase.

FedEx Announces 2016 Rates
Effective Jan. 4, 2016, FedEx Express, FedEx Ground,FedEx Home Delivery®, FedEx SmartPost® and FedEx Freight rates will increase an average of 4.9%. FedEx® Retail Rates will also change. For details, go to fedex.com/2016rates.

SHIPPING MATERIALS _ For acrylic paintings 36" or longer, we use wood to crate. That not only involves pricey materials, but time and craftsmanship. We treat your purchase as an investment and we do everything to keep the cost of shipping to a minimal. We have learned over the years that this is the best way to secure the shipping of fine art.

SHIPPING QUOTES _ Crating 'materials' alone runs us $25.00 - $45 or more, so depending on the destination and size our larger pieces, our shipping prices are actually not covering the expense of the materials we use to crate and ship across the USA. If you feel that the price of shipping is a bit high for your destination, we are happy to make adjustments if possible. Please include your zip code when inquiring for a quote.

INTERNATIONAL buyers for most countries. Please provide a zip code when asking for a shipping quote to your country. Insurance may not be an option. Buyers will be responsible to custom and duty fees.

Here is an international calculator to help you determine the fees in your county. http://www.dutycalculator.com/new-import-duty-and-tax-calculation/

DOMESTIC shipping within the USA goes 1st class US Postal Service (7 to 10 days). If it weights over 13 oz or over, Priority USP (2 to 5 days).

-Depending on the size of the painting, medium to large I use FedEx ground (averages 5 TO 7 business days delivery). If you want your package sooner and shipped by speedier means, let me know before payment and I will adjust the shipping charges for you.

-Options for Direct or Indirect signature will be required for insurance purposes. If signing at the time of delivery is not possible, the Fedex will hold for pick-up at the station at no extra charge.

Processing time will vary on orders for two reasons.
1) Funds take 24 hours before Etsy releases to my bank account and an additional time of 2 or 3 days for my bank to receive them.
2) Once the funds have cleared if late 'Friday' shipping will be made that following Monday for obvious reasons. If you have questions please don't hesitate to ask.

PLEASE NOTE: Once a package leaves my hands I have no control over the course of time by the carrier. Buyer consider extra time for holidays because it is a busy time for all carriers.

Additional policies and FAQs
COMMISSION WORK

-Retaining custom work on watercolor & acrylic paintings are welcome. I do ask for half of the cost (non refundable) to be paid ahead of time for supplies and the rest at completion. In most cases depending on the complexities for the project, you will have 2 viewings in the making to assure that it is keeping to what you had envisioned. Commission work is determined by the square foot. Depending on the complexities I will consider price breaks on larger simplistic styles such as colorfield painting .

-I retain copyright on all artwork I create, and have the right to use the image for promotion purposes, reproductions, etc. Artwork and images may not be used or reproduced without my written permission.

-The pieces in my Etsy store are all original paintings, original drawings, or prints of my original paintings. The content (content being images and artists statement) is the original work of both Victoria Kloch and Kurt Wedgley ALL is protected by US and international copyright laws.
