I honestly don't know how to describe this magnificent piece of art. It is jewelry, specifically a necklace, but it is also one of the highest quality wire-wrapped art pieces I've ever seen. (And I've seen a lot and some of them have been very large and in museums.) I wish I new how to describe this piece fully because it is so unique and pictures do not do it justice, even though they make it look great. Somehow, it looks better in person and I was in love with it when it was just a picture. It is multi-layered, such that there is an intricate web of wire-wrapped layering on the backside working it's way up into the middle of the piece (which is meant to look like a robot's face) so, you have this layering web intermixing and wrapping all around the "inside" but there is also this external circle that makes up the shape of the face which is wire-wrapped to itself, to the layering center and to the back and also to the components of the face, and even to the delicate wire-wrapped hair. I have never seen a wire-wrapped piece that was so detailed while involving so many layers (because wire can get caught or bent when it is used at this level) There are no cuts or failures in this piece, and I've examined it closely. It is flawless, absolutely perfect in every way. The layering and interconnected-ness of the piece is magnificent and the effect is stunning, even from pretty far away. I have only worn this once (on a special occasion) and I was immediately and consistently complimented over the course of the evening by multiple people, even a few men. It is steampunk but it is also pure nerd-jewelry (which is why I loved it). It is a robot face that looks straight out of the twilight zone (if they had access to better special effects in the 1960s because, actually, this looks better). This is the most beautiful piece of jewelry I own and I don't think that will change for many years. This was an effortless transaction and Jeremy Sevier, the artist who made this, was willing to cu

About

Steampunk Culture on the Island!

Started in the fall of 2011, Victorian Clockworks has slowly progressed to dominate more and more of my way of life. The early months were tricky as I was entirely new to making wire wrapping jewelry, and had picked up the wrong book to start with. After some time at the library and perusing the internet I've managed to get my feet under me, and now feel like I am bringing something original to my store and all of you.

Using a large variety of supplies, I spend my days crafting intricate jewelry, and my nights dreaming up fanciful designs. I get my inspiration from movies, comics, games, and the internet - many times spending hours browsing and making sketches.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
At this time, I am only set up to accept Paypal for payments.
Shipping
All international sales are final.

I ship everything USPS Priority since I live on an island. I don't mind shipping parcel post and adjusting the price for you, though I would expect it to add a month or more to the shipping time. I am also willing to ship purchases in any other method for you - just send me an email before the purchase and I will get the postage calculated for you.

Because of the expense of shipping more that 2 items internationally (only 2 fit in the standard 'small' sized box), there will be an additional shipping fee for international orders that include more than 2 items. I will work with the customer to get the cheapest shipping possible for these orders.
Refunds and Exchanges
I will accept refunds in pristine sell-able condition only from domestic sales, all other sales are final.
Additional policies and FAQs
All of my jewelry is made from intricately wrapped and woven enamel coated wire. They are fairly durable, but rough surfaces or sharp abrasions can chip the enamel off leaving the base metal showing - in most cases this is copper. Treat them as jewelry and they should have a good long lifetime.
