About

Vinch atelier is the desire to combine my passion for illustration and graphics with my values of sustainable development.

At first I felt guilty about using paper to draw. I took scrap paper or recycled paper to make all my sketches. I made myself a nice stock of flying leaves that will have a second life.

But the problem arose again when I was printing my designs because then I left the cycle of recovery and began to consume "new" paper. It is true that there is the FSC label which indicates that the wood comes from sustainably managed forests but it remains a use of raw resources that take time to grow back.

Then I discovered a recycled paper that has all the qualities of normal paper, and even more! No more excuses, the "Vinch atelier" adventure can begin!

Why "Vinch"?
Simply because it's the nickname I use to sign my paintings. The illustrated posters are also artworks, they deserve a small artist's signature isn't it?

The big chain store is convenient to furnish but we do not particularly want our apartment to look like the one of the neighbor. On the other hand, an artist's canvas is not always affordable either. An illustrated poster is a balance between craft creation and the price of digital printing.
