Always an exceptional transaction with Amy. The towels are beautiful and exquisitely crafted. Packaging is pristine and shipping is super swift. Thank you for the added sachet - and special giftie. How did you know I collect vintage milk bottles and associated items? Thank you so much for everthing! C

Sunflowers and lilies are my fave flowers so I was delighted to find this item for me! Of course there have been purchases I made from VintageHome as gifts for others which somehow manage to never leave my front door. Thank you for everything!

About

Welcome to the doily factory.

When I was in elementary school, my mother, an impeccable seamstress, thought it might be fun or useful (or a super-fast way for me to drive her crazy) to teach me how to sew my own clothes.

Those sewing lessons, combined with the accumulated experience of my creative professional life -- art school student + craft kit designer + photo studio art director + product licensor + vintage vendor -- turned out to be the foundation and inspiration for what you’ll find in my etsy shop, VintageHome.etsy.com.

I've crafted my original designs into pillows, towels, banners, runners, Christmas stockings, sachets, and bags. Each item is handmade by me in Portland, Oregon.

The materials I use include vintage fabrics of all sorts but my first love will always be vintage tablecloths. The more torn and desperate, the better. I also confess to bringing home entirely too much vintage barkcloth, old embroidery, crocheted bits & pieces, vintage sheets, tatting, ticking, rickrack, needlepoint and doilies.

If you’ve purchased something from me, I’m eternally grateful for your support. If you’re browsing, I’m thrilled you stopped by. Thank you.
