Vintage Jewels Bring Me Happiness Like the Flowers in My Garden

I started selling vintage jewelry on Etsy in 2009 after 30 years of collecting. My mother was my inspiration. She had a lot of costume jewelry and as a child, I loved nothing more than playing dress up with her beautiful costume jewels. Back then, costume jewelry was kept for a year or two and then put away or discarded (sigh) as it was not considered collectible like it is today. How I wish I knew then what I know now. I would have rescued them all !

A lot of the jewelry I sell on Etsy is from my personal collection over the years. The pics above are some of my favs from my personal collection. I like jewelry from many different eras and so I have collected a wide range from the Victorian era through the 1980s. I have a lot of reference materials on vintage jewelry and belong to the Jewelry Ring, an educational discussion group for those who love vintage jewelry. I do my best to present the most accurate information I can about the pieces I offer for sale.

And, if I could pass on one thing I've learned, it is this. If your child or grandchild loves looking at or playing with something that is special to them and you own today, tuck it away for them in later years. It might just be an inexpensive trinket today, but in their adult years, it will bring them priceless memories.

I hope you enjoy my Vintage Jewelry Meadow. I've been collecting and studying vintage jewelry for many years and am a member of Jewelry Ring which is an on-line discussion and education group for vintage jewelry lovers. I do my best to present accurate information and good pictures of the fronts and backs of all my pieces so you have a clear understanding of the item you are purchasing. I'm happy to try to answer any questions you may have.

I will not be responsible for any customs fees or any other fees related to international sales. All customs papers will be filled out honestly with actual values stated. No exceptions. I will consider sales to some countries not listed if customer contacts me so we can discuss.
I try to ship within 1 or 2 days of receiving payment. Shipping price quoted is for first class only. Unfortunately, USPS shipping fees have risen dramatically, especially for international orders. The minimum USPS international charge for a first class 1 oz package is $6.55 and most packages weigh at least 3 oz which costs $9.45 to most destinations.
