Well it all started with the clocks, oh and my absolute LOVE for vintage pieces. This past summer, my boyfriend Mike and myself ventured once again to the James Dean Festival and The Ducktail Run here in Indiana. It is an annual event for classic car lovers as we are, for those not familiar with Indiana. It is two very huge car shows, jam packed with cars for miles and events like flame throwing and also swap meets (my personal favorite ). Mike said to me "I want to find some old hubcaps and try making a clock out of it". Awww, light bulb moment for myself. I love automotive stuff, not the new stuff, the stuff they just don't make any more and most people would haul of for scrap. I love the nostalgia and the story these things tell by there wear and tear. So one clock turned into two and so on and so on. I love them and think they make a very unique way to show off my love and others love for cars and trucks! That's a little on how the whole hubcap clock came to be for me. Vintage stuff is also my passion, I honestly get so excited by these old things. Once again they just don't make stuff like they used to. Reminds me of my grandma's house and that special feeling I got while there. I have quite a collection of "things" I love here at home. I find vintage pieces here and there and think maybe there is someone out there that will love this as much as me and make them happy. These are the items I have for sale in my shop. I love my shop, it has became an outlet for my creativeness and I am passionate about it.
