Just an example of PotHolder/Kitchen Art in my kitchen. I just listed about 15 "mini-collections" in a variety of colors! Very fun.....

Restoration of Linens is My Specialty.

Vintage Vegies as an Etsy shop started after about six years of the brick and mortar style shop. I wanted and needed a place to find a broader audience for some of my finds. I tried other on-line options and it just did not work for me. Etsy turned out to be easy and fun. I love the Etsy culture and customers! The name "Vintage Vegies" just represents my two hobbies: All things vintage and organic vegetable gardening.

I got started in the whole business after retiring from teaching and when my Mom was ready to start parting with some of her things. From there it just grew, as my husband and I both like to shop estate sales. He is a wonderful partner who enjoys the occasional "please fix it" project and understands when our house is cluttered with assorted inventory, piles of linens waiting for the soak or beautiful stacks of fresh clean linens waiting to find new homes.

I use the Vintage Tablecloth Lovers Club "Condition Rating Scale" and "Database of Identified Tablecloths" to rate the quality and identify the tablecloths I sell. To learn more about this fabulous resource please visit

Be sure to favorite my shop as I add special finds on a regular basis. Vintage Vegies is the place I list those items that "I know somebody out there is looking for this!"

I sell vintage items, including but not limited to linens, at Finders Keepers Antique Mall in Olympia, WA. We are very proud that we are repeatedly voted the best in the Olympia area.

Welcome to VintageVegies! The name comes from my love of all things vintage and vegetable gardening, especially with heirloom varieties. Somehow the phrase just describes me. I pride myself on quality products with really good detailed descriptions. The idea is to make shopping easy and fun for you!

Returns and exchanges
I work really hard at accurate descriptions so refunds are only offered if I have unintentionally grossly misrepresented something. Please remember these are vintage, gently used or well loved, items. I will only consider a refund or exchange if you contact me within 48 hours of receipt of the item.
Payment is accepted through PayPal and with the Etsy direct payment system. Payment is expected upon purchase, but if somehow that does not work for you, convo me and we'll work it out. Washington residents will be charged retail sales tax. I am happy to put items on reserve for two days.
I will ship within three business days, if not sooner. Sometimes I will be away from products for a time but will let you know on the shop page when this occurs. Things like trips to see our Grandkids would affect shipping. Please note that I calculate postage for the farthest USA distance. I will refund excess shipping if you live closer.

If you are an International buyer please let me know right away so I can get the exact shipping fee. On some items I have used the Flat Rate charges for shipping to Canada and Every Where Else. I know these are high and, at least in some cases, can probably get these down. If so, I will send a refund through PayPal.

I will be happy to combine shipping where ever possible. I am not responsible for damage during shipping, but I always pay for insurance for the value of the item. I get good feedback on shipping and packaging. :)

I re-use shipping materials as much as I believe is reasonable and still insure the safe arrival of your item. With linens I am particularly concerned about moisture, so there will always be some plastic involved. Fragile items will be double boxed and the delicate linens will always come in a sturdy box, not a padded envelope. I try to use vintage things for the internal wrapping, part of the charm of buying vintage I think. It does not add to your shipping cost, because I get it for next to nothing. :)

If I know the item is a gift, it will be beautifully packaged as you would expect any gift to be!
