Vintage Condition Guide:
Perfect: Appears like new with no noted flaws, no holes, tears, or stains. Get ready for a jammin' night on the town with your hep cat crew as soon as you receive your shipment!
Excellent: May have very minor flaws, no holes, tears or stains. Near perfect to the non-discriminating eye. When Mr. Postman rings your doorbell, you're in for a real treat, you pretty dolly!
Good: Minor flaws as noted (we will note all holes, tears, and stains in item post). We will give repair suggestions, although the item will be wearable as purchased. You'll need to get out your peepers to see the flaws, so don't hesitate to pop the clutch and peel out to the party!
Fair: Wearable with repairs and care. We will give repair and care suggestions and note all holes, tears, and stains. Your new threads will require a little work, but pretty soon they'll be screaming'.

We accept PayPal as well as most credit cards. If you care to purchase by credit card, please send your info to us in an email and we will be glad to take care of it for you.
We use USPS Priority Mail or USPS First Class Mail, depending on the weight. Please let us know if you have a preference. We will send you an email with tracking information that can be followed online.

Insurance is available for domestic and international shipments, please ask and we will let you know the additional price. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS LOST IN THE MAIL, SO PLEASE CONSIDER INSURANCE.
We will gladly combine your multiple purchases into one shipment! Items must be purchased within a 7 day time period, and we must be notified within 24 hours of your first purchase (so that we do not package and send out your purchase yet). For most lightweight items sent domestic, add $2 for each additional item. For most lightweight items sent international, add $5 for each additional item. Additional jewelry purchases will ship for free when combined with a clothing, shoe, or purse purchase!
Refunds of excess shipping charges:
We have done our best to estimate your shipping charge. If the difference of the shipping we have charged you vs. our cost is greater than $2, we will refund you the difference.

Do you accept returns?
In most cases we do not accept returns. Please contact us if you are unhappy or have a complaint; we will be happy to work with you and resolve the issue! Our primary concern is to make sure that you are happy with your purchase.
Unfortunately returns are not accepted if an item does not fit. We provide essential measurements for all garments; if you would like additional measurements or pictures we will happily send them along to you. A great way to help determine if a garment is your size is to measure a comparable garment of your own… if the measurements in crucial areas are similar most likely it will fit!
We don't accept returns for flaws. We scour our garments and report all flaws on the item description. If you feel an item has been misrepresented, please contact us.

Have you washed the piece I'm about to buy?
To keep our prices low, we do not wash our garments, but we do freshen them up. If you have questions about the care instructions for your vintage garment, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Where do you find all your clothing?
We look in hidden stores throughout the country, as well as abroad, and see potential in everything! From Los Angeles to the Southwest, MidWest, NorthWest, and Back East, as well as London, Germany, Paris, and Mexico, we hunt for the best of the unexpected to bring to Violet Sunday. We are so excited to share our treasures with you, and hope you love shopping Violet Sunday as much as we loved finding the garments!
More about measurements:
-Measurements are made while the garment is lying flat. Remember to double the bust, waist, and hip measurements if you are wanting the circumference.
-Note that some items pictured are pinned so the garment more accurately fits the model. If you have questions about fit details of a certain garment, don't hesitate to ask us!

-Have styling questions about your vintage garment? Email us and we will gladly provide you with advice and suggestions!
-Accessories and additional clothing or jewelry photographed with your garment is not included in your purchase. If you would like to know where another piece is from that appears in the photograph, please email us and we will let you know.

-Most of our items are vintage and therefore have some normal wear and tear. We do our best to note all flaws in the item's description, however from time to time there may be a flaw we have overlooked. Please contact us with your question if you are concerned.
-We try to clean our garments before sale, but recommend that you also clean the garment before wear. If you have questions about the care suggestions of your new purchase, please contact us.
