Water polo art
This shop has bounced around a little. In the past, I did hand bound books and pop-up cards. In February 2019, I am reviving the shop to raise funds for the University of New Mexico women's club water polo team. Until May at least, all profits from this site will 100% go to the women's team. I hope I can give them something to build on for the future!
Why water polo art?
I love poster art, especially from the art deco and bauhaus era. I found I really admired the basketball and hockey posters from the 30s--they have such a sense of motion and freedom! But there aren't many water polo posters from this era. The first designs I did were just to play, but after I few years I've done dozens of designs. I love to play water polo, and I love to think about water polo. Hopefully some of my designs will inspire the same feelings in others.
