About

Virtualdistortion is the artistic outlet of Ginger Halverson, a girl who has always loved to create.

I grew up around makers and always felt the best when I was creating something with my mind, hands and heart. Proudly offering my hand crafted creations to buyers all around the world has been a dream come true and a dream I aim to keep living! I put my all into my products and customer service and am always into trying new ideas, new materials and new techniques to achieve wonderful handmade items that will hopefully inspire others to smile, laugh and enjoy life!

As you can see by taking a look through my shop, I love to work with a wide variety of materials and techniques. I've always had a "how can this be accomplished? There must be a way..." attitude, a huge desire to figure things out, that I feel really gives me a boost to this day. During the late part of my teen years I really got into building computers, the internet, photography and graphics design. For a while I worked very technical jobs but knew deep down that I was meant to utilize all of my talents at once, really push the limits of my abilities and build my own foundation. Focusing on my art has been one of the most rewarding things ever and makes me very happy. I get to be inspirational! I am determined to live a beautiful, messy, art filled life. I really, really, love making things and then releasing them out into the world for other people to enjoy.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little bit. I love to communicate so if you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact me. Also check out my website where there is an even more detailed About section: http://www.virtualdistortion.com

Shipping
DOMESTIC BUYERS - I use the US Postal Service primarily. If you have a different preference, please let me know and we can work it out. If your order is over $250 I require you to sign for your package (signature confirmation) so there is proof of delivery. Delivery tracking information is automatically included on all orders.

Custom orders have custom time frames and that will definitely be discussed with you or be stated in the item description.

GIFT WRAPPING - Contact me if your item is a gift and I will wrap it with extra care, add a note and omit the packing slip! ;)

* I use recycled shipping materials whenever possible to be more eco-friendly.
Refunds and Exchanges
LOST/DAMAGED PACKAGES - If your package is lost or damaged during shipping please contact me. I am always willing to satisfy a customer if I have no reason to believe there is foul play.

RETURNS - If you're really not happy with your item, as long as it is returned without damage or apparent use within a reasonable amount of time and is able to be re-sold... I will accept returns. However it must be pre-authorized or I will not accept it. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. Returns are not typically accepted for very custom made items but I will decide that on an individual basis.

TERMS - Please do not re-sell my items. One exception would be to put them in a gift basket and keep all of my labels intact and give me full credit for the work I've done. Contact me if that is an interest of yours and we can work something out.
