We developed the Cat Paw Brand in 1994 and started making Plains Style Cat Paw Moccasins. My wife and I traveled much of he country selling Native American type items out of our Tipi. During that time we made many hundreds of Elk moccasins along with fringe bags and some clothing. Everything we make is branded with our distinctive Cat Paw brand. The moccasins have palomino colored elk uppers and palomino colored buffalo soles for longer life. Our moccasins are extremely soft and comfortable to wear around the house or yard and tough enough to be used for camping, hunting, or hiking.
Animal hides are subject to blemishes and scars they receive from living in the wild. I attempt to avoid any blemishes on the elk uppers. This is not always possible, but if there is a blemish it will be minor. The buffalo soles may have minor blemishes.
Moccasins are typically worn bare foot. If you intend to wear socks be sure to order a larger size than you normally would. The socks will drag on the inside of the moccasin. The moccasin should fit snug on the width. As you wear them the width will stretch to fit your foot very comfortably. The length will not stretch and should fit like any other shoe with a little extra room at the toe so your toes are not uncomfortable. The drawstring will pull the moccasin snug around your ankle.

5 out of 5 starsI had asked for lots of different colors as I wanted to make a very unique medicine bag and they absolutely delivered! There is a smell to the leather as you'd expect if you've worked with leather before. I'm airing it out over the next week or so which should help it to dissipate. The quality and volume you get for $20 is a fantastic deal! I would absolutely buy again!

About VirtuallyForever
Retired, but not quite.....
We started the Cat Paw brand in 1994. My wife and I traveled the country for several years making and selling Native American style items out of a tipi. My profile picture is from our traveling days and was taken in front of our tipi. We used the tipi as our traveling store. During that time we made many hundreds of Elk moccasins along with fringe bags and some clothing.
Life happens...and now I am once again making moccasins and bags with the Cat Paw brand branded onto every item. I use Elk and Buffalo for my moccasins and bags. I also create Plains Style Moccasin Patterns for customers. The only real difference is that this time I am doing it from home and not out of our tipi.
I still do laser engraving and almost everything I make is custom designed by me. I have been doing custom laser engraving since 2005. I engrave marble, granite, wood, acrylic, special plastics, and metal.
I bought my laser five years before I retired in 2010. Other than the time my wife and I traveled selling crafts I spent my working career in machine shops. I admit to 35+ years in the machine tool trade. I started long before computers were available and when I retired almost everything was tied to a computer somehow.
When I first started doing laser work in 2005 I was doing portraits on marble and granite. When the economy slowed down a few years ago my business was to dependent on one item and my business all but stopped. That was when I started working with other materials and began doing work for wholesale and retail outlets. And now I have added moccasins and other leather goods to what I do. I now stay as busy as I really want to be. After all, I am suppose to be retired!
So, although I am retired I am not quite.....
