A Dad, a 3D Printer, and Too Many Die-Cast Cars
It all started with my son's die-cast car collection and a 3D printer that was about to change everything.
Like any good car dad, I wanted his collection to have a proper home — something that matched the cool factor of the cars themselves. So I started designing and printing miniature garage dioramas custom-built for his 1:64 scale cars. He loved them. His friends thought they were awesome. And I realized pretty quickly that we couldn't be the only ones who wanted something like this.
That's how VisionTek3D was born — a dad project that got way out of hand in the best possible way.
Every diorama I design starts with the same standard: would my son think this is cool? If yes, it gets made. If not, it goes back to the drawing board. It's not a complicated quality check, but it's an honest one.
I'm a genuine car enthusiast myself, so I take the details seriously — from the brand theming to the way the cars sit in the display. I'm always adding new makes, models, and themes, and if you don't see your car represented yet, just reach out. Chances are it's already on my list.
