High Quality Prints, Ecofriendly Production

Coming from a painting and drawing background, I discovered printmaking late, and immediately fell in love. Screenprinting is my favorite printmaking process, because it enables me to blend printmaking, photography, drawing, digital art, and painting. Also it allows me to collage layers of images from drawings, photographs or scans of personal objects. And although screenprinting is often known for flat, hard-edged images, it can also produce prints with depth, texture, and soft painterly surfaces. Keeping in mind the environmental impact of art, I use nontoxic materials such as water based inks.

I love the interplay between the digital and the handmade, between the coolness of the technical process and the warmth of ink on paper. I often rely on the computer to develop an initial sketch, but depend on my background in drawing and painting to make decisions about color, value, shape, texture, and line. I think screenprinting satisfies both my right and left brain! In the end, I am always aiming for a balance between process and feeling.

My latest prints deal with the theme of journey and memories of place. Etsy offers a great place to show this kind of work, and there are some terrific artists here. I hope you'll enjoy visiting my shop.

Hello, and welcome to my shop! Here you'll find high quality, unique, affordable prints. My work is made in my studio by me and no one else. I want to share my work with you and am always willing to work with you on pricing or custom orders. I can do custom orders if you need multiples for a retail, business, or hotel environment.

As for philosophy, I'm an artist and printmaker who really wants to reach a broader audience because I think good art should be accessible to everybody, so I hope you find something here you like.

All of my screenprints are titled, signed and dated in pencil either on the front or back, depending on the design of the piece.

As for framing, if you're looking for something inexpensive, Ikea sels its Ribba frame for $9.99 and that works with an 8 x 10 print. For other framing tips, please ask me!

PLEASE NOTE: All screenprints are created by hand, so no two items are totally identical, even in a print edition. That’s the beauty of the product! Please allow for slight variances from what is shown in the photos.

Additional policies and FAQs
All prints are printed on acid free, archival-quality paper, fabric or wood. This paper has a matte finish, which I believe suits the subject matter the best. The paper will last 100 years in normal home display conditions. Please hang the artwork away from direct light.

Contact me about a custom order if you would like matting or framing, or a print in a different size.
