About

Explore. Dream. Discover.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain

My dream is to travel the world with my camera. Capturing images that bring home the true essence of time and place. There is nothing I love more than connecting with a moment, a scene, a person in a unique way that seals the image in time.

French cafes, european scenes, natural mediterranean beauty, urban cityscapes, secret doors, quiet corners and all the little details that capture a sense of place and conjure memories of near or far.

I live in Raleigh, NC with my husband, three year old twin boys and our two year old son. My home is my studio and filled with items from my travels. From my first trip to Italy with my mother years ago to my last trip to the Baltics with my new little family, my home is filled with memories we have made together.

Ever since my boys were several weeks old, I'd walk around and point to framed images on our walls. I pause by the mantle above our fireplace, where an image hangs of the Piazza near the Spanish Steps in Rome, "This is where your dad proposed." I stop in our living room, at the light filled cafe near the Sorbonne in Paris, "This is where I will take you some day. See those empty chairs? That's where we will sit together while we sip and watch life go by."

I do what I do because I love sharing memories. I want your space to be filled with the special joy that comes from a fleeting thought of a moment in time. I hope you will enjoy my work for not only the beauty it brings to your home, but also for the feelings you have when you see it.

Vita Nostra translates to Our Life in Italian. Our Life takes many paths. I'd love for you to follow me on my journey.

Frequently asked questions

Do you accept Custom Orders?

I accept and welcome custom orders. Prints can be prepared in a wide variety of sizes and finishes. I am also happy to provide framing services. If you have something particular in mind, just ask, I am happy to help find exactly what you are looking for. Please note that custom orders cannot be returned unless due to damage. Custom orders may also require additional processing and shipping time. I will communicate this to you during the order process.

What is the difference in Finish Types?

Lustre: Non glossy smooth finish with satin like sheen ("eggshell"). Offers finger-print resistance and avoids glare. Very subtle pearl like texture. Most often used for professional portraits and wall display.

Glossy: Shiny reflective finish. Rich in color and does not have any texture. Susceptible to finger prints and glare.

Metallic: High Glossy finish with metallic appearance. Adds richness, high impact (pop) and sharpness to images. Susceptible to finger prints and glare. Has a silver tone and works well with black and white images.

Interested in something different? Just ask!

Do you offer Framing or Matting services?

Generally, prints included in my standard listings are unmatted and unframed, allowing you to customize with your own unique style preferences upon arrival at your home. Any framed images or images on walls that may appear in my listings are designed to show you how the art could look after matting or framing.

I do offer several sizes of matted prints which are listed at the bottom of the SIZE MENU. Mat is a single mat in white and mounted on a 1/4" foam board. Contact me if interested in different colors or double mats.

I do have a standard framing option located here: http://etsy.me/2byc7zC

I am happy to offer quotes on additional framing services. Just let me know what you are looking for!
