Announcement    Since being on the front page in 2009, my art has changed dramatically, and I now specialize in the inclusion of cremation ash into my works of borosilicate glass art. Contact me for custom work. More info and pictures at CremationMarbles.com.

My customers send me a teaspoon or two of the ashes of their loved ones, and I use it to make beautiful handmade glass items.

Shipping human ashes is against Etsy policy so those orders should go through my website, www.CremationMarbles.com

Send one spoonful of ash to me at:

Vaughn Evans
311 Bowen St.
Linwood, KS 66052

I recommend ziplock baggies with the air squeezed out, double bagged. Let me know if you would like me to hold on to the ash for future orders, or if you'd like me to send the leftover ash back with the glass by writing either RETURN or HOLD on the baggie, in sharpie, next to your name to help me keep everything in order.

I look forward to making something special for you and your loved ones.

All the best,
Vaughn Evans

Hello! Welcome to my shop, my name is Vaughn Evans, and I am a 27 year old glassblower based in Lawrence, Kansas (US). I have been making glass for 11 years. I started out making jewelry when i was 12, and gradually learned to make my own glass beads when I was 16. I have been practicing and studying the art of glass ever since.

Vonbeads is the nickname I have used for my glass persona for years, though I have expanded into many different areas of glassblowing and lampworking, primarily marblemaking.

I keep a blog on some of my glass projects here: http://losingourmarbles.blogspot.com/
