This is really cute and has a really nice color but it's also kind of worn (the fabric is almost transparent at the seams). Otherwise really nice.

Dress is exactly as described and is really a great bargain for the sale price. Shipping was prompt too. I'm happy with my purchase! :)

About

thrifted

I remember browsing Etsy for the first time in the early months of 2008, thinking it was some of the most fun I'd ever had shopping online. Later that year in November, after having sold on other auction-style sites (and having amassed a vintage collection far too excessive for a single individual), I opened Vonlenska Vintage.

"Vonlenska" is the the non-literal language sometimes used by the band Sigur Ros, who at the time of my shop's opening, were hugely influential for me. The language is based entirely on sounds and lacks grammar, meaning, and words. For me, this meant freedom and malleability, from which beautiful individuality and uniqueness could be born; this was a "je ne sais quoi" feeling that I wanted all of the vintage pieces in my shop to carry with them.

I believe that "vintage" is synonymous with individuality. By donning pieces that are one-of-a-kind, wearers illustrate their own, idiosyncratic style, which can inspire confidence, creativity and overall beauty everywhere.

My pieces are sourced from various vintage, thrift, and second-hand locations throughout the Northwest New Jersey highlands. Our proximity to NYC provides us with a unique location in which we are able to find both rare and high-end vintage brands, as well as obscure pieces that have meandered from the city over to us during the last few decades.

I'm committed to providing an ever-changing catalogue of contemporary and relevant vintage. When buying for the shop, my checklist covers three essential elements of outstanding apparel: quality design and construction, materials, and the wearability and styling possibility for each and every piece.

Enjoy the shop!
