My illustrations generally focus on or involve plants and the human figure, though I occasionally work with subjects ranging from landscapes and game design to infographics and logos for business. My concept work in both illustration and metalsmithing focus on themes such as: the interaction and theory of color and the ways color conveys meaning, dreams and the meanings that we assign to them, grief and coping with illness and trauma, nature and the way we interpret elements of it i.e. meanings assigned to specific flowers, as well as the interaction of 2D and 3D elements.

My illness and life with disability is reflected in some themes of my work, I aim to spread awareness of and give insight into chronic illness and disabilities. I was diagnosed with POTS, a form of Dysautonomia, among other chronic illnesses while attending SIUE, where I graduated with a BFA in Fine Arts.
