W. Cushing & Company has been making and selling W. Cushing's "Perfection" Dyes in Maine since 1879. Our dyes are beloved by generations of dyers. For more than 50 years we have also had a special focus on rug hooking.
We import specially made backing cloths from Scotland. We have thousands of printed patterns available- by E.S. Frost who printed the first commercial patterns here in Maine more than 100 years ago; by Joan Moshimer, Pearl McGown, Ruth Hall, Anita Allen, Ralph Burnham and others. Plus Lisanne can custom design a pattern for you!
We have wonderful custom made Hartman Hooks from Ireland, Beautiful Hand Dyed Wools from the W. Cushing and Co. Dye Kitchen, plus wonderful Textured Wools, Home Decor and so much more.
We sell and ship throughout the United States, Canada and the world. We supply retail and wholesale customers, and offer teacher accounts as well.
