The name says it all! I am so happy with my purchases, and they came very quickly. Susan was great with communicating and I appreciated that I was refunded the difference of shipping for the actual cost. Will be back for more I'm sure!

Wild Wind...where everything is natural.

Wow, where to begin?

Susan spent most of her adult life in a job of some sort of another, office work, accounting and such. In 1998, Susan branched out in the world of the self-employed, with an accounting practice, then a retail store, and finally, in 2006, decided that right brained activity needed to be introduced into her life. And that she needed to make a living at it.

That's when Wild Wind Naturals came to fruition. Wild Wind was all about the natural body products, using Earth's gifts to be healthy and have as little impact on the environment as possible. Wild Wind carried soap, lotions, salves, aromatherapy products, and SO much more.

In 2009, Susan and her family moved back to Manitoba. Susan attended a craft sale where a lady was selling alpaca products and fleece. Although Susan had an interest, she had never experienced alpaca fleece.

When Susan was at the craft show, she dug her hands into this basket with a cria fleece....and an addict was born. The fleece went home with her...(she didn't know what she was going to do with it, but gosh darn, would find something!)

The rest is history. A story of a true love affair with fibery goodness that soothes the soul, both with the arousal of the tactile senses, and the firing of neurons that comes with the dying process..all the color and creativity.

Our fibre products have been processed by hand, if necessary, from raw to finished, and every state in between. Quality and customer service are the utmost of importance to us, and you won't find sub par products in our shop. We pride ourselves on having (picky!) good taste, and have every expectation that our customer gets the best their dollar can buy.

Hi! Welcome to Wild Wind Naturals on Etsy. My hand made fibre items are created using farm grown wools and fleece, commercially processed top, and my two spinning wheels. I create spinning batts for spinners, I hand dye top and fleece, and I sell fleece locks for spinners and crafters alike. Thank you for visiting - we hope to hear from you soon!

Accepted payment methods

Payment is due upon time of purchase. Accepted form of payment is Paypal. If payment is not received within three days of purchase, sale will be cancelled. I will, upon request, hold an item, for a total of three days. If no payment is received after the stated time period, the hold will be cancelled. Taxes are applicable for specific sales. Any applicable sales taxes will collected at time of payment through Paypal.
Because we live in the country, I only get into town 2-3 times per week. Those days can vary, too, but we will always ship your purchase within three to five business days of payment. We will communicate the process to you, step by step, so you will know what is happening with your package. If we are not able to send your package immediately, we will convo you. In the case of a custom item, you will be notified as to the date when you can expect your item to be shipped.

We use Canada Post to ship most items. Our goal is to ship an item using the least costly method possible, to save you $$. Please note, that if unforseen charges arise (shipping charges are double or triple due to size/weight of package), we reserve the right to contact the purchaser to try and accommodate those extra fees. Any duties, customs or brokerage charges that may be incurred are the responsibility of the buyer. With the changes in postage over the last year, it's difficult to guage costs..I will try and send as efficiently as possible for cost, and if it ends up being more than $1 less that you paid, I will refund you that cost. If you want expedited shipping, or a tracking number, extra costs may be incurred, and you must request this at the time of ordering.

Additional insurance is the buyer's responsibility, and should be requested by the purchaser, if desired. *If insurance is suggested by the seller because of value, or transit type, and is refused by the buyer, the seller will not accept responsibility for damage or loss.*

Please note that Canada Post does not move packages on the weekend. Once an item is marked shipped, that means it's been taken to the post office and dropped off by me or my staff. If it is a Saturday, and the weekend or a holiday day is coming up, your package will leave the soonest business day that the post office is open and working. If you live in the US, please understand that items will take longer to reach you than if you live in Canada. Items must pass through customs and could take up to two, or possibly three weeks to reach you. (That's never happened, knock on wood!) If it has passed that time frame, and you still haven't received your package, we can start to look at trying to remedy the situation.
Refunds and Exchanges
With respect to items lost in transit, where the buyer is confirmed, and seller protection available through Paypal, a claim may be made under item not received, and the appropriate actions will be taken to refund you for your purchase. In the case of items arriving damaged, proof of such must be provided, a claim will be made through the proper channels with the shipping provider, and appropriate actions will be taken to refund you for your purchase. If a claim for unreceived item has been made and a refund issued, and then the item shows up, we would hope that that item then is returned to the seller unchanged.

Refunds issued by the seller will only be considered under certain circumstances, at the seller's discretion. We try to describe our items with as much accuracy and detail as possible to avoid any misunderstanding about an item. If you are unsure about something you'd like to purchase, or have questions, please convo and ask first. We would be more than happy to provide you with as much information as possible, so you can decide if it is the right item for you.

If, upon receipt, you are unhappy with your purchase for some reason, please contact me. My customer is always welcome to return an item, in the same state as purchased, at their own cost. Once received by me, I will be more than happy to refund the original purchase, minus shipping, so long as the item is unaltered/changed.
