Helping you to feel glamorous all day and all night!
As a lifelong lover & collector of all things vintage, it was a natural progression to set up my own business one day which I did in 2010, as an antidote to a dull day job to give me something to pour my passion & creative energy into.
My business name of Wake Up Little Susie links my clothing business with my love for Rock 'n' Roll music that started my whole love affair with all things old, interesting & glamorous, and fits perfectly with my trademark vintage nightwear!
Following redundancy in 2014 (after 24 years - yikes!) I took the opportunity to make my little business my full time living, and whilst it has been hard work, it has also been incredibly rewarding and has helped my confidence & led to many new friendships.
I sell at local vintage fairs & events in Norfolk, I host my own Vintage Nightwear Parties & Pop-Up Vintage Lingerie Boutiques as well as showcasing the best of my lovely stock on the catwalk at my own fashion shows, through photo-shoots and online via social media (find me on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter!)
Setting up an online shop was a natural step upwards, and I love how Etsy has connected me with customers & fellow vintage lovers from all over the world.
I enjoy personally sourcing out beautiful items (as well as parting with the occasional beauty from my personal collection...) and love the idea that every vintage item has it's own history & story, and by finding the perfect home for a piece, I am starting it off on another journey where it will be loved & appreciated all over again.
Vintage nightwear & lingerie and it's part in social history has always fascinated me and has evolved into my speciality - helping you to stay glamorous 24/7!

Sizing details
How do we measure vintage items?
All clothing is measured flat in INCHES and has been doubled.
BUST:
Taken from under the armpit across to the other armpit.
WAIST:
The Narrowest part of the dress / top / shirt.
HIPS:
Widest part of the dress around the bottom. Only relevant for tighter garments.
LENGTH:
From the middle of the dress / top / skirt to the bottom of the hem .
BAGS
Bags are measured flat too.
Width (Taken across the widest part.)
Height: Top to Bottom.
Strap Drop: Measurement from the top of the strap to where it joins the bag so you know what length it will sit on your body.

What Condition will my Vintage be in?
We strive to sell only top grade quality vintage items that are useable and wearable, which have light to moderate signs of pre use.
All significant flaws will be detailed in the description, accompanied by photographs.
