I was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawai’i. Waking Willow Workshop started with the desire to bring natural healing into my life, after being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia at the age of 18 and later, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).

Concerned with the types of chemicals and lack of purity found in commercial products I began to make all-natural alternatives for myself, husband and our four children.

“Making healthy products for my family and yours” isn’t just a Waking Willow Workshop business slogan, it’s a statement I believe in and live by. “If I wouldn’t put it on my kids, I won’t have you put it on yours.” That’s how much care and research I put into all my craft. I choose to use ingredients that are safe for children, pregnant women, and pets.

Troubled by the high cost of many natural products, I try to keep my prices as affordable as possible, because I believe that cost shouldn’t be a hurdle to overcome when it comes to health and well-being.
