Announcement   Thank you for stopping by Walnut Farms! I love spinning and dyeing fiber and yarn. Beginner drop spindle kits are my specialty. The hand-dyed fiber listings are constantly changing and selling, so if there is something you want, get it! or stop back to see what is new!

I run this little fiber business by myself, from my home and farm. I truly love it, and am truly a fiber enthusiast. I have a small fiber animal farm with Blue Faced Leicester sheep, alpacas, angora goats and angora rabbits. All of this keeps me busy. I LOVE doing all of this, but there is only so much time in a day.

I am also blessed to be a wife and mother. I share this, because I want to give my customers the best products and service I can, while making sure my priorities are balanced. I try to fill orders as quickly as I have the ability to, often next day if possible, and making certain that you'll be satisfied with the products is important to me.

Thank you for being a customer or just looking at all the pretty colors and soft fibers. Beauty and 'meaningfulness' are good for the soul, and it is my privilege to share these things with you.

Thank you,

Anita

About

The Simple Life

Growing up on a farm in central Pennsylvania, I learned to crochet from my grandmother at a young age and began selling my finished items at a local artisan village when I was older. I worked for many years with women that had fiber animals and spun their own yarn and I always found these women so interesting and wanted to try it myself!

Finally my family moved to a small homestead and it allowed me to finally fulfill my dream of raising my children on a farm and be blessed to be able to raise my own alpacas, blue faced leicester sheep and angora rabbits.

It is a wonderful thing to be able to share what you enjoy with others and it has been so rewarding to be able to run a fiber business out of my home through Etsy. I hope you enjoy my work, as much as I enjoy making it. You can also follow Walnut Farm Designs on Pinterest and Facebook.
