How cool is this? The perfect print for an adventure loving person done on an actual National Geographic map! It is beautiful and meaningful, and will be cherished! Thank you for your creativity and workmanship...the end product is beautiful!

About

I am a full-time domestic master, who uses any and all free time making. Both art, dinner, and various messes.

I have a Bachelors of Fine and Applied Arts from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Also I completed my Masters of Teaching the Fine Arts from Columbia College, Chicago. That educational experience continues to have major impact on my art activities (as well as organizational and communication skills).

In 2011 I began an art collective of my nearest, dearest and most talented friends. Pearl-a-pop-up-art-boutique was born out of a collective need to continue to create and experiment with the fine and decorative arts- despite our busy lives and growing families. A unanimous sigh of relief was heard from the group of domestic masters, mothers, wives, and teachers once we realized how successfully we could roll our socializing, art experiments, and money making together while creating our pop-up shops that happen in and around the Chicagoland area.

Since then I have fell into a body of work focusing on maps and adventures. Both of which I love deeply. Between pop-up's, art fairs, and laundry I continue to dabble in various mediums, try new projects, and hone my old skills.

Walsh-Walsh & Son is the place where most projects end up. The name comes from the fact that I was always Colleen Walsh then I married another Walsh, who I don't think is my cousin. I added my son to the mix because he has decent sleeping patterns and allows me to work on art throughout our days spent around the house.

Shipping
All orders are posted as soon as possible, but no later than 5 business days.

DOMESTIC (within the U.S.) SHIPPING:
All purchases under 13 oz. (maps) include U.S. First-Class Shipping (3-5 days) and a tracking number. All books are shipped via Media Mail (2-8 days) with a tracking number. Any product that does not fall within those categories will be shipped with a tracking number at the most cost effective shipping service, within the rules and regulations of the U.S.P.S.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
All purchases under 13 oz. (maps) include Unites States Postal Service, First-Class International Package Services.

EXPEDITED SHIPPING: If special or expedited shipping services are needed, contact me before placing an order to ensure I can oblige.

CHANGE OF ADDRESS:
Postage is generated automatically from buyer's Etsy account. Shipping labels are only as up to date as buyer's account. If an order is sent to an old address because a buyer does not update their shipping address on Etsy, buyer is responsible for lost package or additional fees incurred to reship to a second address.

HOLIDAY DEADLINES:
For domestic buyers, I will post holiday deadline (which is different than USPS deadlines) on my shop banner, for Christmas and Valentine's Day. I will refund 100% of shipping fee if domestic buyer does not receive holiday purchases when bought within deadline. If domestic buyer purchases after deadline, they can choose to upgrade their shipping. I do not guarantee holiday delivery for international buyers.

U.S. LOST, DELAYED, OR DAMAGED:
Domestic buyers will need to file an insurance claim through U.S.P.S. online in order to officially file a claim. A registered account is needed along with the tracking number for shipped package.

INTERNATIONAL LOST, DELAYED, OR DAMAGED:
International buyers will need to file an insurance claim through U.S.P.S. online. Please click on hyperlink to learn more about that process.

Refunds and Exchanges
If a buyer is unsatisfied, it is my priority to attempt to rectify the situation. I truly want my buyers to be happy with their purchase.

On standard items I am happy to accept returns or exchanges. Returns and exchanges must be posted within four weeks of purchase date, at the expense of the buyer, in the same condition that I sent it to you in. Same packaging for returns/ exchanges is preferred, but comparable quality is mandatory to ensure no bending or moisture damages shipment.

Custom items cannot be returned, as they are specially crafted and ordered on demand.
Additional policies and FAQs
SAFE & LIGHTWEIGHT:
Greener is better for shipping, that means function over form. I use recycled materials (whenever possible), no superfluous decor or packaging, and lowest weight possible. Please inquire if you would like pretty packaging, which I can provide at an additional cost.

CUSTOMS:
Custom orders are fun to make, but many times due to the mediums I work with, I am not able to fulfill all requests. I am happy to receive requests & will always be up front & honest about what I can and cannot do.

WHOLESALE:
I do not do wholesale at this time, because I keep my costs low, so my work is affordable for most. I cannot afford to sell at more than 20% of a price reduction, regardless of quantities.

GENTLEMEN'S AGREEMENT:
By ordering a buyer agrees to all terms set forth in the payment, shipping, and refund policies.
