Quality Handcrafted One of a kind Artwork
Wanderer Woodwerks is a small custom woodworking and sawmill business. It was started by a highly creative individual who put their artistic talents on hold to make a living for a growing family in the mountains in the 1990s. Those talents came to fruition in the form of custom log and timber structures, fine furniture, amazing staircases, as well as wood windows and doors in many many homes over those years. Even though our store may be new, our practices and materials are not. With over 30 years of combined experience in woodcraft, Wanderer Woodwerks provides a quality and unique product. We even leave a maker's mark on every piece. We hope you like it.
Using the same methods mentioned above, We want to create something for you that will evoke creative feelings and nostalgia in you. There is a desire in all of us to live a fuller and more creative life. Do what you love, ours is artwork and traditional woodworking practices....all on reclaimed and repurposed wood.
He who works with his hands is a Laborer.
He who works with his hands and his head is a Craftsman.
He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an Artist.

Our materials are all reclaimed lumber carefully dismantled by Wanderer from structures slated for demolition or renovation. Repurposed beautiful materials stay out of our landfills and become what you see in our store. Every piece has a history with character and has ended up starting another story here at Wanderer Woodwerks. If a piece of our reclaimed wood has a significant history from it's former life, a handwritten note will be included so there's another story to the story of your piece. While somewhat rare, it's a wonderful addition include in an order.
