Wandering Whimsies on Etsy gives me the opportunity to provide a unique collection of handmade rustic country style items to a wide range of customers worldwide.

You will find that each item is made with special attention to the smallest details and quality workmanship --- something that my customers have come to expect and that I demand of myself.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns, exchanges, and cancellations

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

I DO NOT accept exchanges due to the types of items I sell. But please contact me if you have any problems with your order. I'll be happy to make changes to a new order that hasn't been processed - such as a different potpourri scent,

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

- Scented Potpourri orders


CONDITIONS FOR RETURNING ITEMS:

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

SHIPPING / RETURN SHIPPING AND THE "RUSH ORDER/EXPEDITE FEE" LISTING ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.


LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS:


If your item is damaged during shipping, you may request a replacement item or refund of the purchase price minus the actual shipping costs. I require one or more photos of the damaged item and the packing, if the outside packing shows damage. Once I receive the photos, I will file a claim with the shipping carrier and provide you with a refund or replacement.

Please keep all packing materials, etc. and the damaged item until I receive notification that the claim is settled.


--- In the event of loss for a mailed order: I will contact the shipping carrier as soon as I am notified by you that your order has not arrived.

In the unlikely event that I receive confirmation from USPS/UPS that your order is indeed lost, I will contact you. It will be your choice of a full refund (minus shipping costs) or to have replacement items made.
Payment
U.S. CUSTOMERS:
If you are paying by business check --- I will wait until it has cleared my bank *usually within 7 business days* before starting to work on your order or mailing your item (if in stock and ready to ship) to you.

Payment is accepted through Paypal, Direct Checkout (All major credit cards) and business checks (U.S. customers only).

Custom fees, taxes, monies are the responsibility of the buyer.
Shipping
Orders are shipped within the time frame stated in item description (under the shipping/policies tab) or in my shop announcement for the holiday season,etc.

Orders are mailed to the address provided in your buyer's transaction receipt, unless you have contacted me with other arrangements regarding a shipping address.

Delivery TIMEFRAMES: Once your item is given to the shipping carrier, I do not have any control over the TIMEFRAMES for your item to be delivered! If you require delivery by a specified date, please select the appropriate shipping method - such as express priority or priority mail.

UNDELIVERED Items: Items returned to me as undeliverable, due to wrong address, no forwarding address, not accepted at customs, non pickup at post office (after notification by USPS), etc --- WILL NOT be re-shipped unless the buyer pays new shipping charges. I will refund the item purchase price on your order (minus all shipping charges) upon request from the buyer.

Certain items - such as custom stitcheries with names/dates, scented potpourri and navy rating patch stitcheries will not be refunded due to being an UNDELIVERED item.

U.S. and APO/FPO customers:

SHIPPING will be through the US Post Office or through United Parcel Service - whichever allows for the speediest delivery and the lowest shipping charges. Shipping method is determined by package size and weight.

Any overcharges in shipping costs are promptly refunded:

- when I receive the order and see that the shipping calculator has noticeably overcharged and/or
- after I've shipped your order.

INSURANCE is automatically added to all USPS and UPS shipments ($50/$100 respectively). I will add additional insurance to all orders necessary - above the standard amount provided by the shipping carrier. I (the shipper) will file all necessary insurance claims with the carrier - and provide you (the buyer) a replacement of your order or a refund for damaged or lost items.

International customers:

With calculated shipping - you, the buyer, have the choice of up to 3 international shipping options.

Some items (due to size/weight) do not have International shipping rates listed. Please contact me for an exact quote on the item and I'll be happy to add international shipping to the item selection.

ANY OVERCHARGES IN SHIPPING COSTS are promptly refunded through paypal or direct checkout after I've shipped your order.

ALL customs fees and monies will be the responsibility of the buyer. I have no control over a country's customs fees/charges or the length of time it takes for items to go through customs!

ALL items are marked as "merchandise" on customs forms. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Shipping notifications are emailed to every customer and will provide the tracking number of your order.

Shipping, tracking and delivery confirmation are also available through the purchases/reviews section of your Etsy account.

A confirmation of delivery with tracking number is applied to all shipments (international orders will have a US customs tracking number). This allows for tracking of the items through the USPS and UPS websites and lets me know when your package has arrived at its destination.

Custom order requests are always welcome! I enjoy working with my customers to provide them with exactly what they are searching for.

If there is anything which you would like done up a bit differently in coloring, wording, etc., just contact me with your request and I'll see what I can do :)

Sales are final on custom made orders. Upon receipt, if there are damaged items - please contact me for a refund for the cost of the damaged item(s) minus shipping fees.
