5 out of 5 starsGot my fan in and I absolutely LOVE it!! I always carry a small fan with me when I shoot darts in tournaments because some places get crowded and hot. It is made very well and the fabric is nice and vibrant. It also shipped super fast. I will def order from here again for friends.

I've always loved creating stuff! I eventually honed in on plus size clothes because I am a big girl and like many others that design plus size clothes, it was hard to consistently find the style of clothes I liked AND would pay for so I started Big Gurl Cloz (https://www.etsy.com/shop/BigGurlCloz). Then an idea that I had years ago resurfaced - a more durable hand fan.
I love hand fans, but traditionally they are not sturdy enough or may not be small to keep with you in a bag/purse. I used to use one when I would go dancing with friends, but it was after only a few uses that I started to tape it up and far too quickly it was not functional any more. I went into developing and now producing a fabric hand held fan with removable spines so it can be washed and used many times.
I can do custom colors or even repurpose a garment like an old graphic tee, convo me and let's collaborate!

How to hold the washable hand fan...
The washable hand fan is supported by your hand and therefore floppy compared to what you're used to but, the following will show you how to hold it.

A washable hand fan is made from quilting cotton with REMOVABLE spines. The spines are durable and made to stand up to being carried around in a bag/purse.

Care instructions
Most washable hand fans from BGC, LLC are made from cotton and cotton blends.
You can wash by hand or machine with mild detergent and NO bleach (in most cases) and then lay it out to dry on a clean dry towel out of direct sunlight or medium heat in a dryer. If you choose to iron then use a low setting and be careful NOT to go over the clear elastic wristlet as that will melt.
