Announcement   Welcome to my shop! Here I offer my latest creations in whatever materials I am currently endeavoring in. I work in a large range of mediums, ranging from painted plates, teapots, porcelain, as well as sculpture, paintings, drawings, and prints. My hand-painted porcelain housewares are often novelty teapots and mugs depicting my favorite filmmakers and actors.

If you are looking for a particular medium, such as painted plates or drawings, use the navigation sections to the left of the page. Alternately, you can use the search box below to search within in my shop for those of you looking for, say, a portrait of Steve Buscemi.

Be sure to check back often, as I am always adding new prints and artwork. If you have a request of something you would wish to be made into a print, please let me know.

I do my best to include detailed descriptions of each item I sell, but if you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me!

Thank you for visiting,
Julie

About

Hello!

Thanks for stopping by my About page!

I love working in a variety of different mediums, I find it keeps away the monotony of working in the same materials. I like working in pen and ink, acrylic paint, china paint/overglaze, and with ceramic.

Pretty much everything I buy is used and/or vintage, and this transfers over into my artwork. All of my china paint pigments are vintage, as well as the porcelain surfaces I paint on. Even the kiln I fire them in is from the 1970s!

Aside from creating art, I also hoard plants and spoil my iguana, Bones.

Shop policies

Last updated on June 24, 2013
Welcome to my shop! I am pleased to offer my artwork to you, and I hope you check back often and share with your friends! Please take a look at my policies below, and let me know if you have any additional questions.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
When purchasing, I require immediate payment. If you cannot pay immediately, contact me BEFORE purchasing so I can place the particular item on "reserve". I will keep an item reserved for you for one week.
If you would like to cancel a purchase, please let me know as soon as possible, since I often ship the next day.
Shipping
Most of my orders are mailed through USPS First Class mail. According to their website, it takes 3 to 5 days for the package to arrive to anywhere shipped within the United States. For international orders I also often use First Class. For larger packages like sculptures I use USPS Parcel Post.

International orders may incur customs fees, and these are the responsibility of the purchaser, since I cannot control which orders will have customs fees nor can I control how much the fees will be.

Usually international orders take about 2 weeks to arrive, depending on the destination.
Refunds and Exchanges
In the event that an item is damaged in transit, I will replace or refund your item free of charge. Of course, I welcome photos of the damaged item, which helps me with claims when I have purchased insurance for my packages.

If the item is undamaged, but you are unsatisfied with it, the buyer must return the item to me and pay for the return shipping. Please discuss this with me first, so we can work out a method of exchange or refund.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please note that purchasing an item from my shop-
- Does NOT give you rights to redistribute the work (ie use on a website, create prints, trace, re-draw)
- Does NOT give you the right to re-sell the work (including use in a collage)

If you are interested in wholesale or consignment, please contact me and we can work something out.

Custom orders:
I currently only take custom orders on a "made to order" basis. These made-to-order items are listed in my shop. However, if you want something not listed, like a flower vase with Steve Buscemi's face on it, shoot me a message and I'll see what I can do.
