Welcome to my adventure --2014 brings new ideas and exciting creations

I wish all of you the best 2014!

While I didn't close my shop ( I haven't added to it for a while) I've spent a couple of months coming up with new ideas and designs. A new website is in the works and ideas to involve you in the world of embroidery. Keep an eye on this area to find out more. I found some interesting things in the desert this year that I will be incorporating into my embroidery designs. I also found some vintage treasures that will find their way into my designs.

I haven't spent much time with metal and enamel. I seem to have done something to my shoulder and am trying to get that healed so that I can comfortably saw metal and hold the torch safely.

I hope you will follow me on facebook and pinterest. I'll be posting to my blog as well and will keep you updated on the newest designs. Another new feature on my blog will be tutorials and some free pdf designs.

Some of my work can now be found in boutiques in Telluride, Co and Scottsdale, Az. If you ever have a special idea in mind...don't hesitate to contact me.

In this busy world handmade items slow things down a little. You may stop and think about the maker and the "ingredients" used that make your purchase special. Many handmade items are either one-of-a-kind, or very close to that. When items are made individually it is almost impossible to duplicate each and every step...so the result is something that is uniquely yours. I hope you take the time to read my post "What is it about Handmade."

Thanks for spending some time with me and visiting the nooks and crannies of my shop.

I love textiles and creating with them...quilting, embroidery, creating fashion. Now I've added metal to the mix and I love it...brass, copper, sterling silver. This marriage of materials brings to life exciting new designs!

Shop policies

I love creating and I want you to enjoy your experience when shopping. If you have any questions prior to or after your purchase please feel free to contact me. I have found that most cuffs need to be made when ordered to fit your wrist, please allow five days for the creation of your special cuff. I do all of the hand embroidery myself, so if I need to recreate an item it will take me a little more time to ship your purchase.

When you place an order I will convo you to assure you that I have received your information. If you have purchased an item that needs sizing I will ask you for that information if you have not already provided it.

I will answer your inquiry within 48 hours.

Smoke and pet free studio.

All cuffs and rings, unless noted One of a Kind (OOAK) are made to your preferred size.
To measure for your ring or cuff:
Ring: use a 1/2" strip of paper around the finger you will wear the ring, taking into account getting the ring over the knuckle. In inches or metric provide that size.
Cuff: use a 1" strip of paper around your wrist, just above the pointy wrist bone and provide that size in inches or metric, keep in mind how snug you like your cuffs to be.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
I accept paypal and credit cards through the paypal system. I accept checks and money orders, contact me. I will ship your item once these forms of payment clear my account.
I prefer to ship my cuffs Priority Mail in the US and International. I will place your order in a flat rate envelope or box. Based on this, the postage is the going rate at time of purchase. At times I may reduce my shipping to half price and that fee will depend on where I need to ship to. Smaller items like rings, brooches, or earrings may be shipped by first class mail.

I have found that Priority Mail provides the safest and most trackable (in the US) service. If you prefer a specific less expensive shipping method please convo me before paying your invoice so that we can discuss the shipping fee and adjust the invoice.

CHRISTMAS ORDERS: Orders need to be placed by December 10th to insure Christmas delivery. Orders placed after this date may be subject to overnight shipping fees to get them to their destination in time. Please email me to discuss.

International customers are responsible for all fees, taxes, and duties associated with shipping to their respective countries.
Refunds and Exchanges
It is my hope that you will love every handcrafted obsession that you receive from my shop. However, I do understand that without touching or holding an item in your hand there may be times that you are not satisfied with the creation that I send you. You have four (4) days, upon arrival, to contact me so that we can discuss the issue. The item must be unused and in the condition that I shipped it. Refunds will be minus fees and shipping will be at your cost. Refunds will be issued upon arrival of item.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom Orders: I love collaborating with my customers to create that special piece for them. Deposits of 50% are required when placing a custom order. The remainder is due when the item is complete, prior to shipping. If supplies have been purchased or customization has been completed this deposit is non-refundable.
