Payment is required immediately after purchase, otherwise your order will be cancelled and re-listed. Payments are handled securely through Paypal and require immediate payment upon completion of your order as per Etsys guidelines.
I accept all major credit cards via Paypal, which allows for Debit and Credit card payments without a paypal account.
Paypal is safe, secure and easy to use!
To pay with a credit card choose the paypal option and then “continue without a paypal account” link on the new Paypal page.
Please let me know if you encounter any problems during this process.
Please note, if you choose to pay with a PAYPAL cheque, funds may not clear for up to a week.
I am also now accepting direct credit card payments through Etsy.
I will post goods upon clearance of funds. I will notify you immediately about any possible delays in your order.
Packages to the UK will sent by First Class Mail (proof of postage but no tracking).
Overseas packages will be sent by Air Mail (proof of postage but no tracking) - estimated delivery 7-12 working days.
Royal Mail's standard services (including 'Signed For') offer discretionary compensation for loss or damage up to GB £21
For items above that value, insured shipping is highly recommended.
If you would prefer a quicker service, tracking or insurance, please contact me and I will let you know the additional cost.
Let me know if you require this BEFORE you pay and I will send you a revised order.
International buyers are responsible for paying any customs fees or duties in their own countries.
All items are securely packed using new (and some recycled) materials, and shipped promptly once payment confirmation is received.
Your items will usually be dispatched within 48hrs of my receiving your order and I will always let you know when your order is en route by email/convo and by making your order as shipped in your purchase section.
Within the UK you should expect to receive your items within 5 working days
International customers should receive their orders within 7-12 working days
No PO BOXES PLEASE!!!!
What happens if I dont receive my item?
Please bear in mind that your order is shipping from the UK
If you live outside of the UK I would not consider an item “missing” until at least 21 working days have passed since shipping
If your item is missing do let me know and I will provide you with all of the information I can for you to make a claim through your local post office.
If your local postal service is unreliable or you regularly do not receive your mail please consider purchasing additional shipping insurance and tracking when making a purchase.
Unfortunately on occasion items do go missing in the post and although I cannot be held responsible for this, I always retain Proof of Posting for every shipment and will do everything possible to help you seek compensation from this end.
If an item returns as an unclaimed package I am not responsible for any shipping fees and the item will be relisted unless the buyer asks for item to be reshipped at their own expense.
Refunds and Exchanges
All items listed in this shop are vintage so please be aware that these items come with those nuances which make them vintage. All of my items are pictured and described to the best of my ability.
Ask questions if you're not sure about anything - BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO BUY! - and I'll be delighted to help.
For vintage garments, it is ESSENTIAL to compare the measurements provided in the item description to a similar garment of your own that fits you well.
All measurements are taken from the outside of the garment laid flat.
These measurements ARE NOT THE SAME as body measurements - you should allow at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) for ease of fit, and more for outer garments such as coats.
Don't assume garments will stretch or 'give' a little to fit - most vintage garments won't! In fact, they don't like stress because they are old and sometimes a bit fragile. This might sound obvious, but if those fibres and seams are 60 years old, for example, you can't expect the same performance and durability as a new garment.
All sales are final. I do not do any refunds or exchanges. However, if for any reason you should find your item was not as described please get in touch within 28 days to discuss the possibility of a return/refund
Your item must be returned in optimum resaleable condition.
If your returned item is not in acceptable condition your refund will be refused and return shipping will not be paid for.
I cannot be held responsible for items damaged or lost once despatched.
