My name’s Kate O’Connell and I’m an artist from Chico, ca. I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and went to the Academy of Art of San Francisco in the early 2000’s. I’m married to another weirdo artist who’s super supportive and has encouraged me to put my stuff out here. It’s scary, I’m not going to lie. What’s also scary is our two children. One of them talks in their sleep. Frightening. We both have really boring day jobs and honestly, I couldn’t be happier painting every waking free moment I have. I love painting weird niche things that I find really fascinating, I hope some of my little creeps fascinate you too! Please adopt one or six! I can guarantee everyone was made with all my love, that’s cheesy, but it’s true. And now I want some cheese. Great. Follow along on this strange journey with me, much like all things I do in adulthood, I have no idea what I’m doing or going! Adventure!
