A Weapons Forge começou com um presente de despedida: imprimi em 3D uma GBU-12 e a montei em um bloqueador MJ-1 para um dos meus soldados. O bloqueador levou quatro dias para ser impresso e exigiu bastante trabalho de acabamento, então, quando as pessoas perguntaram se podiam comprar o conjunto, decidimos oferecer a GBU-12 em um suporte em Y — era mais rápido de fazer e ainda tinha a mesma aparência. Esse pedido simples se transformou em mais projetos e, em pouco tempo, novas munições começaram a chegar à oficina.
Weapons Forge began with a going-away present: I 3D-printed a GBU-12 and mounted it on an MJ-1 jammer for one of my troops. The jammer took four days to print and a lot of finishing work, so when folks asked if they could buy the combo, we decided to offer the GBU-12 on a Y-stand instead — it was quicker to make and still looked the part. That simple request turned into more designs, and before long new munitions quietly worked their way into the shop.
