Weapons Forge comenzó con un regalo de despedida: imprimí en 3D una GBU-12 y la monté en un inhibidor MJ-1 para uno de mis soldados. La impresión del inhibidor tardó cuatro días y requirió mucho trabajo de acabado, así que cuando preguntaron si podían comprar el conjunto, decidimos ofrecer la GBU-12 en un soporte en Y; era más rápido de fabricar y seguía teniendo buen aspecto. Esa simple petición dio pie a más diseños, y en poco tiempo, nuevas municiones comenzaron a llegar al taller.
Weapons Forge began with a going-away present: I 3D-printed a GBU-12 and mounted it on an MJ-1 jammer for one of my troops. The jammer took four days to print and a lot of finishing work, so when folks asked if they could buy the combo, we decided to offer the GBU-12 on a Y-stand instead — it was quicker to make and still looked the part. That simple request turned into more designs, and before long new munitions quietly worked their way into the shop.
