The majority of Coin Rings offered in this shop are custom made to one or more of your specifications.
When I need to order a special coin, additional time may be required. (See listing for details).
The time it will take for your item(s) to reach you will depend on your location. We ship everything parcel post, which will give us (and you) a tracking number.
Is making jewelry from coins illegal?
No. Copying coins for jewelry purposes or altering them to create jewelry is legal according to Title 18 U.S.C., Section 331. This section provides criminal penalties for anyone who alters coins for jewelry purposes and represents them to be something other than jewelry. Section 331 of Title 18 of the United States code provides criminal penalties for anyone who “fraudulently alters, defaces, mutilates impairs, diminishes, falsifies, scales, or lightens any of the coins coined at the Mints of the United States.” This statute means that you may be violating the law if you change the appearance of the coin and fraudulently represent it to be other than the altered coin that it is. No laws are broken in creating our original jewelry.
What is your return policy?
Return requests must be made within 30 days of purchase.
Please contact us first via email, to try and rectify any problems. In the event of needing a return, please include a note that identifies the order so we may issue the refund without delay.
There is a restocking fee of 25% on custom made items., which partially covers the cost of supplies.
Will these rings make my finger turn green?
These rings are made from genuine coins. If the coin consists of copper/nickel, the rings may turn your finger a green color which is due to the copper. Some people are more prone than others. If you coat the inside of ring with clear nail polish it can help to block this from occurring. And then repeat as necessary.
