Two geeks make things out of plastic
We're Daniel and Christina. We love animals, Mexican food, gardening, and watching terrible movies. We're the Weasels behind Weaselfactory. We make items that are colourful and quirky, with a pinch of humour.
How did we get started? Well, Christina made things for herself because she was too cheap to buy jewellery. Daniel always made Christina jewellery as gifts, because he knew that would win her over. It worked.
Now we make things together and it works pretty well. Daniel designs, makes and does all of the assembly because Christina is too uncoordinated to glue tiny bits together. Christina designs, makes, packages and ships. If you send us a convo, Christina is the one who usually answers.
We're obsessed with travelling to far away places as much as possible, so you'll find our shop shut from time to time. Many of our designs are influenced by the places we've visited. We always arrive home with loads of ideas.

This is Christina Weasel. She designs, makes, and takes way too much pride in description writing and jewellery packaging. Pictured in Shimizu, Japan.
Half dog, half rabbit. Possibly the happiest animal alive. Keeps us from doing our work. Pictured in our garden.
We make fun, kitschy stuff, but we never skimp on materials. We use the best silver chain you can buy... Sterling silver 925. Nothing we use is "silver coated" or any dodgy metal that will turn your neck or ears green.
Accepted payment methods
*International orders: Please note that we cannot absolutely guarantee arrival for Christmas due to parcels being held up at international boarders for thorough inspections. In the past we have found that this is not usually a problem and parcels will arrive in a timely manner, however last year there were reported delays to the USA because of heightened security.
We only ship to your Etsy invoice address - not the Paypal one. So please make sure that your Etsy address is correct. Drop us a message if this needs to be changed or if your product is a gift and needs to go elsewhere (we can include a gift note as well).
We ship in the UK via Royal Mail First Class, or internationally via Royal Mail Airmail.
We can offer tracking for an extra charge, please convo us if you require this and we will invoice you for the extra postage. However, it's worth noting that in our experience, international parcels won't track once they enter the destination country, as many of the systems do not communicate rendering the service somewhat useless.
International orders can take anywhere from 1-5 weeks to get to their destination. We have found that international orders usually take on average 2 weeks to reach their destination, but in rare instances an international order has taken much longer to arrive. If your parcel has not arrived within 5 weeks, please contact us.
Please be aware that we cannot be held responsible for postal delays (under 5 weeks), customs holdups, nor international customs charges. Additional import fees are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding this.

Refunds and Exchanges
Customised/personalised items: Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges on customised items (e.g. name necklaces). However, we always offer mockups for customised work before it is sent, so you always know what you're getting.
Although it happens rarely, if your item has been damaged or broken during shipping, please contact us immediately and we will replace your product as necessary.
Some of our designs are fragile (see individual descriptions), but will hold up just fine if handled appropriately. Because of this, we cannot be held responsible for items broken due to misuse / mishandling.
If you are concerned about fragility, please conversation us and we will be happy to cut a custom piece thicker, however this may affect the design.
Additional policies and FAQs
► All jewellery findings (chain, jump rings, ear hooks, etc) are sterling silver and will tarnish over time. Use a normal jewellery polish.
► Acrylic will scratch, so please handle it with care. If you need to clean it use a soft, lint-free cloth.
► Wood should not be submerged in water, as it will swell. Please remove wooden rings before washing your hands.
► Handbag care: Dry clean only.
