Wee Essentials ha iniziato al tavolo di una sala da pranzo nel 2007; Stavo cercando di trovare un modo frugale e rispettoso della terra per sostituire molte delle mie necessità domestiche usa e getta: prodotti femminili, assorbenti per l'allattamento, asciugamani di carta e pannolini / salviette. Cucivo e creavo da quando avevo 7 anni, quindi è stato naturale crearne uno mio!
Un sacco di tentativi ed errori più tardi, e nel giugno 2008 ho aperto Wee Essentials su Etsy con i miei primi Ultrathin Liners e Soap Bits - una soluzione di salvietta in tessuto naturale. Sapevo di non essere l'unico a cercare prodotti che avrebbero fatto risparmiare denaro a lungo termine, pur essendo attento alla pulizia della terra.
Nel corso degli anni, l'idea di "Vivere semplicemente in modo che gli altri possano semplicemente vivere" ha influenzato sempre di più le mie azioni e il modo in cui gestisco Wee Essentials. Utilizzando prodotti riutilizzabili, possiamo risparmiare risorse per altre persone - e quando abbiamo finito, i prodotti riutilizzabili possono essere compostati in parte o interi, impedendo alle discariche di crescere e acqua e aria pulite per le persone che vivono vicino a loro.
Wee Essentials started at a dining room table in 2007; I was trying to come up with a frugal and earth friendly way to replace a lot of my disposable household necessities - feminine products, nursing pads, paper towels, and diapers/wipes. I'd been sewing and crafting since I was 7, so it was only natural to make my own!
Lots of trial and error later, and in June 2008 I opened Wee Essentials on Etsy with my first Ultrathin Liners and Soap Bits - a natural cloth wipe solution. I knew I wasn't the only one who was looking for products that would save them money in the long run while being thoughtful about the earth's cleanliness.
Over the years, the idea of "Living simply so others could simply live" has affected my actions more and more, and the way I run Wee Essentials. By using reusable products, we can save resources for other people - and when we are done, reusable products can be composted in part or whole, keeping landfills from growing, and water and air clean for the people who live near them.
