About

Wee Possibilities sews handmade quilts that help families build lasting connections.

Hi! I'm Angela and I’m the Story Stitcher behind Wee Possibilities! I find joy in creating usable art for children in the form of heirloom quilts. There is an inherent comfort that comes with a handmade quilt. The fabrics, the time, the care, and the stories stitched into a handmade quilt are an expression of connection. I believe every child should snuggle in a handmade quilt that helps them feel connected to someone who cares about them.

I live on the Northern California coast. All quilts are hand-made in my home studio in the woods. My creativity flows freely here, and it's common for quilt ideas to wake me in the middle of night. Getting imaginative with textiles and design makes me think about all the possibilities that haven't yet existed. This is the hope children represent: They are all things yet to be. They are Wee Possibilities!

DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS: My heirloom quilts are perfect to use during tummy time, bedtime rituals, or car rides to big adventures. Every quilt is machine washable/dryable and constructed to survive the daily adventures of childhood. All quilts are my original designs, and embroidery work is done by hand, the old fashioned way! I use regenerative design practices with fabric, when possible.

I hope you find a quilt you fall in love with!
XOXO,
Angela

What kind of batting do you use?

All quilts are made with Warm & Natural, the finest needle-punched cotton batting. The soft, natural cotton has never been washed or bleached with harsh chemicals and contains no resins or glues. FIBER CONTENT: 87.5% natural cotton & 12.5% polypropylene.

What are upcycled fabrics?

When possible, Wee Possibilities uses regenerative design practices with fabric. When fabric of exceptional quality or a with unique design becomes available, that fabric is purchased and repurposed for use in some quilt designs. The upcycled fabric in Wee Possibilities’ quilts is always new and has never been used in any capacity before. The goal is to leave a positive impact on our environment and prevent textile waste and the use of raw materials in creating new products. It also allows Wee Possibilities to offer small batch designs that will likely not be found anywhere else.
