Soy Lyn, una administradora de TI jubilada que ha dedicado su vida a reparar, construir y descubrir cómo funcionan las cosas. La carpintería ha sido mi forma favorita de relajarme en el taller durante años, y en The Weekend Builder comparto los proyectos que he diseñado y construido yo misma.

Cada plano que se muestra aquí parte de algo que yo mismo he construido. Lo diseño, lo mido y luego lo transcribo tal como me gustaría leerlo: dibujos claros, una lista completa de materiales y pasos sencillos, sin tecnicismos. La mayoría de los proyectos utilizan madera común de cualquier ferretería y herramientas que probablemente ya tengas.

I’m Lyn, a retired IT manager who has spent a lifetime fixing, building, and figuring out how things go together. Woodworking has been my favorite way to unwind in the shop for years, and The Weekend Builder is where I share the projects I’ve designed and built myself.

Every plan here starts as something I actually made. I build it, measure it, and then write it up the way I’d want to read it myself: clear drawings, a complete cut list, and plain-English steps without the jargon. Most projects use ordinary lumber from the home center and tools you probably already own.
