Hi, I want to welcome you to Welcoming Impressions. A few years ago I turned something I did as a hobby into a business. Crafting has been part of life from a young age. My Mother is a craft hobbyist and sewing is her passion. Growing up in the Girl Scouts you crafted a lot, it became something natural.

After an injury that sidelined my husband, I realized I need to find a way to supplement our families’ income. I decided to take my crafting talent from a hobby and a way to decorate my own home and turn it into a Wreath and Centerpiece (tablescapes) business. Since I have slowly grown a small business into something I can be proud of. When your family tells you your pieces are stand out, you tend to smile and say thank you. When customers tell you that you have talent and send their friends to you, you know you have made it.

When I first started selling outdoor wreaths I rushed into the first fair I could find knowing I was going to sell out. However, that wasn’t the case, I rushed in with all I had and the fair was a flop. As disappointed as I was, I knew that wasn’t the end for me. I started researching Local Long Island Fairs more and more. Even though I live on an island I wasn’t the only wreath maker around. I needed to find a way to stand out. My wreath’s are made with love and quality materials. The quality and care I put into my work is something that really shows. When you are asked to make a wreath by someone you have never met before and their reason for coming to you is they knew the second they asked you for that last second order you’d still give it your all. Now looking back over the past years, I've truly seen a change in my style and I can’t wait to see where my business go next!

I create beautiful wreaths out of Burlap, Deco Mesh, Florals using Pine, Straw, Grapevine and Wire bases. Our centerpieces and tablescapes are made with quality flowers and any accent you would like to see in your home. I will match my pieces to your home, front door and seasonal décor.
