Announcement   Nothing I sell is perfect. I try to find things that are usable. Every piece of china, every piece of glass is art, it has a history, a story. I don't believe they should all be put up to look at, most should be used, and I try to keep everything I sell affordable for that very reason. Even if you only own one cake plate or one platter, use it, enjoy it and pass it down to your children. Generations from now they will remember the food served on it and they will remember you. Dishes were meant to be used, enjoyed, shared and should be.
If you know the history of what you have, even a little bit, and you talk about it and you use it and let your children know why it is important to you, they will cherish it as well. Some of it does require a little special care and maybe daily use isn't really an option but at least use it for Sunday dinners or Holidays. Think back to what your mother had on her table, or her mother, or her mother...I still have china 4 generations old in my china cabinet and yes I use it, although rarely, it's too important to me now to risk breaking. I use the "newer" stuff, it's only around 60 years old LOL.
Most orders ship within 24 hours except on holidays.
