Announcement   Welcome & thank you for visiting Wellspring Woolens. I appreciate you stopping by & hope you will stay to explore our store!

Our company (& life) mission is to: ** Make Good * From Good * For Good **

If you are looking for ethically created, fun, unique & fabulous wool, this is a shop for you. I sincerely believe we offer vegan friendly & truly sustainable wool products.

Since 1988, my husband & I have endeavored to live an intentional, vegetarian life based on conservation & least harm. In that spirit, I have not worn leather since.

Our Icelandic & Corridale sheep live out their natural lives on our Singing Aspen Farm. As of May 2012, our flock numbers forty-five with ages ranging from 1 month to 18 years. They are not pets, but are the fiber crew who get lots of pets! If you were here seeing them romp around (even the adults), we believe you'd agree they think they've got a pretty good life.

When you purchase from Wellspring Woolens, you can be assured that everything has been created with our best intentions, beginning with the sheep & ending in your hands.

My initial offerings will include:

* one of a kind homespun art yarns,

* our very own Poppi's Worsted spun by Mora Valley Spinning Mill,

* fun, felted hotpad/potholders that work as great as they look.

As a thank you for purchasing from my shop, there will be free shipping on all purchases.

In the spirit of: ** Make Good * From Good * For Good ** we donate 10% of sales to grassroot animal & women/children charitable organizations. Wellspring Woolens gives to Wild Burro Rescue and Preservation Project (www.wildburrorescue.org) & International Health Partners (www.ihptz.org).

Thank you for visiting & please come back soon.
