it's a tad bigger than i expected but i take full responsibility for not looking to see if there were any measurements on the listing. besides, it's truly gorgeous so i don't mind the size one bit! thank you for your beautiful work!

I started my shop in 2009 after loosing my corporate job in 2008. I took loosing my job that I hated as a sign that I should do what makes me happy in life, not what makes the most money.

I like to learn and experiment with different art forms. So far there isn't much I can't do well!

I still work part time as an accountant. I am very careful while looking for another accounting position to be sure that its not just for the money.

Welcome to Wendy Beth Creations. I'm a one-person shop hoping to make this my primary source of income.

If you would like to visit my items in person, check my FaceBook fan page for a list of events I am vending at. If you are having an event that you would like me to vend at in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, or Ohio, please feel free to convo me with the details and I will see if I am available. I am not physically able to fly so events must be within a reasonable driving distance.

As for other discounts (ie coupon codes), those are only available through my FaceBook fan page. Unless you are a VERY close personal friend of mine please do not convo me about discounts, unless you are possibly eligible for wholesale pricing. I do give a discount for wholesale/large orders, minimum purchase of $400.00 excludes crocheted items as I am already selling those at below minimum wage prices. Please convo me if you are interested.

Payment
Any items not paid for within 7 days of the purchase date will be canceled and users reported to Etsy. Items will not ship until one business day after payment clears. If paying by check, buyer will be responsible for any bank fees due to NSF checks. For Etsy direct pay customers, your item will not ship until the funds have transferred to my bank account. In most cases, I am able to log in and scheduled an earlier transfer. However, auto transfers are done on Mondays for the previous weeks sales and the funds do not reach my account until Tuesday at the earliest and shipping will not occur until the next available mailing date, which varies based on my work schedule.

Grand Rapids, MI Area Patrons: If you choose to arrange for pick up of your item(s), you may pay in cash when you pick up your item(s). Please note this in the "buyer's note" when you make your purchase. Pick ups will be at my convenience at a public location. I do not deliver to people's homes, nor do I allow for pick up at my home.

BARTER/EXPOSURE: I typically do not barter unless it is something I need for my business. I also do not work for 'exposure' or on spec.

Shipping
SHIPPING/HANDLING RATES: All shipping rates are an estimate. If actually shipping is significantly more the buyer will be expected to pay the additional amount. Also if it is significantly less a refund will be given. Included in the shipping/handling amount is USPS first class postage, shipping supplies, packaging/shipping time, packaging supplies, and mileage to/from post office. I try to reuse shipping supplies when I can to keep the cost down.

TRACKING: As of June 1, 2015, all USPS first class packages include tracking. You will receive a tracking number with your shipping notice. With the exception of Canada, tracking is not available on international packages unless you want to pay for express shipping (see below EXPRESS SHIPPING).

INSURANCE: Insurance is optional on all packages. Insurance is the responsibility of the buyer. Please request insurance prior to payment and shipping. Priority shipping comes with $50 of insurance.

PROCESSING TIME: Please refer to the estimated ship time in the listing. Typically I get things out much quicker than the last date in the shipping range. However there are times that I can not. It is a very rare occasion that it even gets close to the last day before I ship. However, I leave my shipping range open because life is unpredictable. People get sick and family emergencies happen. I am the only one processing orders so if something happens there is no one to cover for me.
Typically, I only ship packages once a week, sometimes less than once a week. I like to have a few orders before I head to the post to save time and gas money. This allows me to keep the shipping rates as low as possible. I no longer ship on a specific date. If you need something mailed quickly see the RUSH CHARGE sections below.

Need something in a hurry or for a specific date? You have options!

PRIORITY MAIL (US Only): Priority mail service is offered as a shipping up grade and does not require approve. Priority mail arrives in business days after mailing and comes with tracking and $50 of insurance. As per USPS, this is not a guaranteed service so I can not be held responsible if your package arrives later. No approval is needed. However this option will not change process times. If you need a process time upgrade, you will need to add a Rush Charge (see next section)

RUSH CHARGE: If you want your item to be processed earlier than the processing time in your listing, I can Rush your order. For a $15 rush charge to cover the gas and time it takes to make a special trip to the post office to ship your item, I can make a special trip to mail your package (subject to availability and shop owner approval) so you can have it earlier! The soonest rush orders go out is next business day. If you need same day processing there is an additional $10 charge. Convo me prior to purchase so I can check availability, and estimated delivery dates. The Rush Charge fee is offered as an option on all listings. Please do not convo me after purchase asking me to mail your items quickly without offering to pay this charge.

EXPRESS: Express shipping is available upon request for most areas. Customer will be expected to pay the additional charges which can vary. Convo me prior to purchase if you would like express shipping so I can get a shipping charge estimate from USPS and adjust the listing shipping charges prior to purchase.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: I am not responsible for any customs issues with your order or duty fees charged. Please be sure that the item you are ordering will be permitted to pass through your country's customs. It is the customer's responsibility to make themselves aware if there will be duty charged upon arrival in their country. Also I will not jeopardize my integrity and risk serious consequences by falsifying the item(s) value on customs forms so that less customs fees are charged.

WRONG SHIPPING ADDRESS: I will ship USPS to your Etsy address. Please be sure the address is correct. If the package is returned due to incorrect address, the customer will need to pay the additional shipping fees. If there is a problem with the address and I can not ship it, the package will be held for clarification for 15 days or until address clarification is received. If within 15 days address clarification is not received, the sale will be canceled and a restocking fee of 30% (minimum of $10) will be deducted from the refund.
Refunds and Exchanges
CANCELLATION PRIOR TO SHIPPING: Cancellation of an item(s) prior to shipping are subject to shop owner approval and will result in a 15% (minimum $5) Cancellation Fee. Please convo me if you feel the need to cancel an order. Please include the reason why when you convo me. Also remember politeness goes a long way with me and lack there of will get you no where. Cancellation will not be granted if the customer decides after purchase that the shop's processing times, which are stated in all listings, are not agreeable for them. The customers is welcome to convo me and pay a Rush Charge (see Shipping Policies under "RUSH CHARGE") However this is not a valid reason to cancel the order.

RETURNS/EXCHANGES: Typically, I do not accept exchanges or refunds after the item has shipped. However, if something is very wrong with your order, convo me and we'll see if we can't work something out. A photo of item issue is required.

Any replacement, defect, or quality complaint will require that the item be returned at the buyers expense. If the shop finds itself at fault for the issue, the return shipping will be refunded to the customer (requires receipt of postage from the customer)

Crocheted items may have a variance in stitching as is the nature of handmade made items. Please check the size of your zills before ordering zill mufflers. I am not responsible for stitching that has been loosened due to the customer trying to put them on zills that are larger than the intended size. The same goes for water bottle carriers.

Items that are insured during shipping are eligible for refund through the US postal service if item is lost or damaged in the mail. The customer is responsible for claiming their refund with the US Postal service. Insurance is optional and is the responsibility of the buyer. Please request insurance prior to payment and shipping as additional charges will apply. Refunds will not be given for items that you have chosen to ship without insurance.

ALTERATIONS & REPAIRS: Need a different style clip mounted? Snapped a feather off at an event? I can help! Any item returned to me for reworking or repair, will be subject to a fee of at least 25% of the purchase price. Convo me description of what you would like done for an estimate. Shipping both ways will be expected to be paid by the customer.
Additional policies and FAQs
~*~ CUSTOM WORK ~*~
Need a hair fascinator to go with your belly dance costume? Or a pair of earrings made for a gift? I love doing special requests! I also do custom sewing work and bridal floral as well. I will consider custom orders on an individual basis. Please use the "Request Custom Item" from the menu at right to begin this conversation.

A deposit will be required for ALL custom work before any work including discussion and sketches will start. Deposit amount will be determined on a individual basis. All deposits are non-refundable.

Due to the extra time it takes to discuss the design with the client on a design, custom orders take significantly more time, typically 3 to 4 times more time, than my non-custom work. Please do not expect to get a custom designed piece at my ready made prices. Due to the unpredictability of how long design discussions will take, I do NOT give any firm price quotes. If I have to spend extra time, I expect to get paid for that. I bill at my hourly shop rate for all custom orders including for design time, communication time with the client, supply shopping time, and time working on the piece. Coupon codes may not be used on custom orders.

Expect at least a 4 to 8 weeks (2 to 4 months for sewing) turn around time. It is possible that I can get your item completed sooner during slow months. However if you are requesting an item to be completed in less than those time frames, expect to pay hefty rush charges.

Please note that I will NOT copy another artist's designs. If you send me a photo of another artist's design and I recognize the designer, I will immediately inform the artist. Also if this happens, I will no longer work with you and any deposits made will be forfeit.

All listings are for the items described ONLY. Any accessories or other items in the photos are for aesthetics only and not for sale.
I do my best to measure and use photos that show the true color. Please be aware the colors vary from monitor to monitor. If you have any questions about a particular item, don't hesitate to convo me

If you would like a different variation from what is pictured please convo me to discuss the variation and price prior to purchase. Custom requests left in the buyers notes will not be honored. Including request for additional strap length on water bottle carriers.

~*~ Convo Response Time ~*~
In an effort to have some separation between work and personal time, I no longer answer messages/convos on the weekends. This is my time to myself. Please be respectful of that and understand that I do NOT answer massages between 12 pm est on Friday through Monday. All messages received in that time frame, will not receive a response until Tuesday. Thank you for your patience.

If you have a problem with your order for any reason, it is expected and polite to contact me prior to leaving feedback. Buyers that leave negative or derogatory comments without trying to resolve the issue with me first, will be reported to Etsy staff and will have all future purchases denied.
