West Hills Studio - Handcrafted Goods from the Pacific Northwest

Hi, it's Jason and Leslie Anderson, and we are the owners of West Hills Studio. We are creatives by nature, and we live in Salem, Oregon. We live on 10 acres, we have a family, and a small hobby farm. We have 2 donkeys, 2 Scottish Highland cows, and English Bulldog named Stanley, and a few cats as well. We spend our days buying and selling classic vehicles, and have been doing that for about 20 years. We love our lives very much and we enjoy the process of living.

We felt like it was time to expand our horizons with some other art, and Jason enjoys ceramics. He loves throwing on the wheel and his passions are raku, wood firing, and rustic pieces that you can really enjoy all the textures and fine art in clay.

I, Leslie, enjoy woodworking. I make everything from rustic furniture, to custom signs, and I love incorporating woodburning and pyrography into my pieces.

We are also Christians and believers that the Lord can heal anything he wants to. He has worked miracles in our lives over the years, and we want to live in gratitude for what He has done, and the patient and loving work He continues to do in our lives, because we are not perfect. We hope that is reflected in our art, it's important to us that our lives reflect the joy we have in the world God has created, and nothing makes us happier than knowing that others are enjoying our art.
