I’m a chef and former restaurateur. After 25-plus years of owning and operating a upscale restaurant, lounge and catering company, I decided to travel a different path. No longer having to work 70 grueling hours a week, I was afforded the luxury to explore my many different interests…one of which was miniatures. So I took the leap and decided to pour my heart into a new creative endeavor. And here I am....designing and creating 1/12th scale miniatures.

I am passionate about beautiful things, antique treasures and architectural grandeur, especially French and Italian. They inspire me everyday to create exceptional miniatures unique to the marketplace. I am also constantly researching and creating new techniques to bring as much realism as possible to my miniatures. I am nothing if I can not create. Ever since I can remember, that’s what I’ve done.

Aside from being a 'self proclaimed' miniaturist, I'm a darn good cook (still), an avid gardener (dirty hands and all) and a classically trained pianist. When I’m out and about, you can find me at the gym, an estate sale or at an intimate eatery with friends.

Please examine pictures carefully, read the description and email through Etsy any questions before buying as I like all sales to be final. I make every effort to accurately describe each piece that is listed. If you are not happy with your purchase, returns are acceptable...please contact me within 3 days of delivery. Ship item(s) back within 7 days of delivery. A full refund (excluding shipping) will be credited to your account when I receive the item(s.) Buyer pays for return shipping. Item must be in good order and in the same condition as it left my studio. I can not offer refunds or replacements on orders older than 40 days. An order, once in the mail, can not be cancelled. Items must be returned and in good condition before I will issue a refund (see above).

I can not be held responsible for any loss or damages accrued after your purchase/package has left my studio. Tracking is available on all packages so its location during the shipping process is available for you to track. You can find this information in 'your purchases'. Once a package has left the USA network and arrives into another country, tracking is sometimes delayed or nonexistent, depending upon its destination. Again, once your purchase leaves my studio, I cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to your package or its contents. I pack all shipments to withstand a drop from the Empire State Building. Breakage is rarely heard of. Miniatures are delicate items and are packaged with that in mind. However, I do appreciate that 'stuff happens' from time to time. If your package has arrived damaged, please get in touch and we can discuss further options.

I BELIEVE in customer service and am willing to go to any length to make sure you are happy with your purchase. All you have to do is communicate.
PayPal is the preferred method of Payment.
I DO NOT SHIP TO CHINA. Too many packages have gone lost once they reach China and no tracking is available once there. Therefore, I have ceased all shipments to China as of 3-15-2019.

I will ship your items to the address indicated on Etsy's receipt unless otherwise specified.

All items will be carefully packaged and shipped via Priority Mail OR First Class (which ever is more price advantageous considering item size & weight). Insurance will be added as needed. I make every effort to ship within 2 days after purchase has been made and payment has cleared, but may be longer should weather intervene. If particular items require special attention for shipping it will be noted in individual listings. I will be happy to combine purchases when possible (items must safely fit into one regular size shipping box). Shipping charges will be adjusted accordingly. I DO NOT charge Handling Fees. Any shipping overage paid will be refunded to you via the payment method indicated on your receipt if over $1. I do my very best to assess proper and affordable shipping costs.

Additional policies and FAQs

The Australian government recently passed a new law that will go into effect July 1, 2018 that impacts some orders shipped to Etsy customers in Australia. The new law requires Etsy to collect goods and services tax (GST) on certain goods sold to Australian buyers from overseas up to the value of $1,000 AUD. Etsy will automatically collect and remit tax on these orders shipped to Australia.

Because of the new law, beginning July 1, 2018, Etsy will collect a 10% GST on orders if each of the following applies:

The seller is located outside Australia
The package is being shipped to a buyer in Australia
The total value of the package is less than or equal to $1,000 AUD

GST does not apply if the total value of the package is more than $1,000 AUD or if the transaction is between buyers and sellers both located in Australia.
