This is the second braid I bought. Like the other one, supersoft fibre dyed to a lovely smooth gradient

This is gorgeous! The fibre is lovely, and it's dyed to a really smooth gradient. No mottled blobs! It should spin beautifully.

Hi, my name is Kirsty and I live in Otley, a small market town in Wharfedale, West Yorkshire. I have Fibromyalgia and left my office job in 2011 to pursue a more therapeutic career. I produce hand painted yarns and spinning fibres and handspun yarns in my home studio. I have been knitting for over 35 years, dyeing yarns for 8 years and spinning for 6 years. I only sell yarns of a high quality that I have tested myself in my own projects. I have two grown up kids (three if you count my husband!) and two lovely, tabby rescue cats who are kept well away from all yarn and fibre.

Items will usually be posted out first class within 3 working days after payment clears. International orders are shipped by air mail. Patterns are posted in stiff board 'do not bend' envelopes and stitch markers will be sent in organza gift bags in padded envelopes. If you are ordering items over the value of £40 I would recommend recorded delivery for which an extra charge will be made - please let me know at the time of ordering if you would like this and I will let you know how much extra this will cost..

Most orders are shipped in fully biodegradeable mailing bags sourced within the UK. The tissue paper I use for wrapping is acid free.
Refunds and Exchanges
If for any reason you are not happy with any purchase please notify me as soon as possible so I can try to resolve the issues. I will happily exchange or refund so long as the item is returned in the condition in which it was sent out.
Items that are lost in the post - please let me know if your item does not arrive within a reasonable timescale. (Royal Mail will not accept that a parcel is missing until 15 days from posting). Please be aware that adverse weather conditions, airport closures etc can have an impact upon delivery times.
Additional policies and FAQs
The yarns I produce are painted in small batches with fibre reactive or acid dyes and there may therefore be some variation between skeins. Please order enough to complete your project.
I try to use photgraphs that show the true colour of the yarn but please be aware that all computer monitors vary and therefore you may not see exactly what I see here!
Although I rinse all yarns until the water is clear it is advisable to wash separately for the first few washes. All weights and meterages are approximate and as stated by my suppliers.
Custom orders are welcome - please open a conversation. I usually request a deposit with the balance payable when the finished item is listed.
