What a friendly looking bat...beautifully, perfectly painted. I nlove how the color design wraps around the back. Quick delivery. I really like that a portion of the payment goes to help real bats..our friendly mosquito eaters.

I appreciate your interest! Those who've bought larger blue aluminum work from me in the past were so pleased with them that I decided to try a series of smaller versions. Variance in dye only adds to a 'watery look' and contributes to individual character. Blue Layout Fluid is made to be used on metals for tool and die-making, machining, and pattern-making and is described as a 'non-glaring, non-flaking, lacquer-based coating.' Also makes for long lasting and beautifully detailed drawings.
The aluminum used in the blue layout drawings is recycled scrap from a local sign making company that would otherwise be thrown. Aluminum composite just means 2 sheets of thin aluminum with a plastic core, popular in the signage biz for its sturdiness and bend resistance.
I value thoughtful craft and make a point to create art with attention to detail and which will last a long time if taken care of properly. All pieces are sent signed and dated and prints numbered. I will also include some simple maintenance tips so you and your artwork can have a long and happy life together.

Refunds and Exchanges
I strive to provide accurate information and representation of all items so there should be no surprises beyond the delight of holding your new art in your own hands and seeing it with your own eyes. However, if for some crazy reason you are not pleased, I will accept returns up to 1 month after purchase. It is your responsibility to provide shipping costs and secure packaging (or reuse the packaging it came in) in the case of a return. I will refund your money after I receive the piece. Please let me know the reason for your return.

Additional policies and FAQs
Any questions? Contact me! I am happy to do commissions if you have something special in mind. Rate is price and a half of a similar piece. Can do 2 or more panels that flow into each other (think diptych, triptych or grid.) The possibilities of combinations are endless!
