My contemporary, one-of-a-kind, handmade jewelry and hand-dyed scarves delight and enhance the unique beauty of the women who wear them.

I have been creating things with fabric, fiber and color for more than 45 years, starting out as a small child playing with left over knitting yarn, large needles and burlap on the utility room floor. I love the magic of converting a pile of thread or scraps of fabric into something that is both beautiful and useful. I also like to combine traditional techniques with modern materials and colors.

My love of color and ability to translate color combinations I find in nature into fiber is showcased in my current work which combines modern dyes and traditional Shibori dyeing techniques. I enjoy making jewelry based on Kumihimo braids created using contemporary fibers combined with beads.

You can follow my photography on Instagram or share my love of fiber art and needlework on Pinterest.
